Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the ship. Multiplayer off, reported all bases in the vicinity, reloaded, reported more bases that spawned in, reloaded, and no luck.

FYI, when someone stumbles across this video and sees that its about 5 hours long, the tendency of viewers is to move on without watching. Who's got that sort of time to sit around and watch. A summarized video about 30 minutes long would be better.

on my first play through i walked on the surface for about 30 minutes, repaired my ship, and couldnt figure out how to boost out of the atmosphere

Great tutorial, I managed to place the landing pad... except it seems a vertical landing pad now always says the landing pad is not clear. I've removed all other objects that could be obstructing it, and when I place a scaled-down landing pad on a flat plane it works fine! Just seems to be the verticality upsets the game. Do your pads still work? I fear it has been patched!

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, Once i go through the portal and check the glyphs in picture mode the first one changes to the alien head and I'm not on the right planet. 😅

I can confirm, when you get the tech with the good stats, package it and you can dupe it as a packaged tech. The dupe item is the same with the same stats. Saves going through loads of tech modules finding the good ones

I hope the flying mounts are gravity sensative and dont float in the sky. I dont want to steer a quadcopter. I want to fly an animal that can dive and bank. When they tuck their wings in they drop or they can build speed and then throw themselves in the air. To me thats everything. It would make or break it for me.

I don't want to hear it....I missed out on those wings and that cool walking staff skin and I'll never get over it 😭

havnt played nms in almost 2 years, already grinded out all the best ships, frigates and carrier; now after all these years they finally add something that the community has been asking for since day one ... wow. Better late then never i guess.

I didn't even know the lock-on came out when it did, I think I fought manually a full 6 months before I realized I could do that

I had trouble finding this ship. There were a lot of bases nearby, and the ship would just randomly disappear. Some genius made a base at the ship's spawn, making things worse. To make matters worse, I had to reload the restore point multiple times because on 3 occasions, the ship would fly away. I remember disabling multiplayer, but I think I did something wrong. In the end, it was worth it, but I almost gave up. I was in the area for about 30 minutes before the ship "spawned".

NEXT was a huge dissappointment for me. So much variety and colours got lost. Also the visuals were very blurry, especially the clouds, terrain turned into boring endless rolling hills. Really glad they brought most of it back with Origins and the Worlds Update. It's interesting to see how far we've come. I was actually thinking about downgrading to NEXT just out of curiosity. Now I don't have to do it anymore. IMO they should have just kept the Pathfinder procgen and add third person on top of that. I didn't like Atlas Rises as it had the lush planet bug which didn't allow any dense forests. NEXT was aiming for a semi-realistic look with a heavy focus on feature enrichment. The visual choices were a mistake and HG realized that. However NEXT was the foundation of modern-day NMS and therefore was a very important step in development despite the toned down colours and terrain. All in all you could clearly see how insecure they were about their product receiving so much unjustified hate. They wanted to make a cut and start from scratch and as a result they threw a lot of things in the bin which should have stayed in the game like colour variety and crazy terrain. Thank you for this interesting rewind! Great idea :)

Didn't really clarify on the whole adjacency vs super charged and whether super charging the jetpack was more advantageous to supercharging 1 module. Also, too much flowery dialog, detracts from the purpose of the video, which would appear to be explaining game mechanics. This kind of dialog is fine when you're telling a story but it's just distracting when you're trying to get across a technical explanation. The only thing I got from this video is that tank capacity is king.

I think the void is the wires connecting the world of glass (the archives) and the simulations. As the sentinels are computer programs they can move this space freely to go anywhere the the simulation database. as this place is not desinted to hold "space" so when a traveller enters it i think only their mind code remains.

If they add purple systems will be bevehat ate now phantom systems? If you build a base in the first phantom system will it become purple in the next update.
