I would respectfully suggest that most ridges on the bottom side are because the bottom toot isnt on the skin and not inneficiencies in the comb

Why do you have the right handed comb set up for a left hander side of the grinder? ie. The gathering tooth over the edge of the disc.

Hello. What is the degree of the cone on the disk?
@tomtd2 жыл бұрын
On most discs for clipper blades it’s 1 degree conical, I’d expect sheep gear to be similar

@@tomtd Sheep blade sharpener is so cheap, about $130 on Amazon compare with the expensive clipper blade sharpener. I guess these are not much different !

Yes, because when the disc is spinning, the friction from the disc is taking up the tolerance from the pushers on the pendulum and it ends up grinding flat. That’s the whole point he is explaining.

Is there a preference as to witch side to grind the comb and and the cutter? It seems like most people are grinding the combs on the left hand side of the wheel, and the cutters on the right hand side. As far as I have understood. What happens if you grind both combs and cutters on the same side of the wheel, like on some portable grinders?
