They had to pronounce it ,,she" because Judas is a metaphor in this song and we can treat it as a ,,genderbend version". In the original version Judas was a guy who cheats on a girl. It's a reference to Holy Bible. In the Holy Bible Judas betrayed Jesus.

Not even the original song was intended to be literal. Judas is a metaphor for being what some would call a party animal. No devotion to anything or anyone and without volition. To be in love with Judas is to be in love with a lifestyle that revolves around only yourself.

Everyone roasting me all these years for changing the pronoun because I'm not gay (not that there's ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT!)... but JUDAS IS A METAPHOR in the original song in the first place. This is like the third song of theirs I have heard so far. This one seems to stick in my head more then the other two. The first song of theirs I ran across was Out Of Time and the second was a cover of Lady Gaga's Judas. Outstanding sound so far even if it is a year old.

Huge problem with this cover: Judas wasn't a 'she'. It would have had the same meaning for different reasons if they kept all the He's instead of changing them to She's, since the point is that the singer is regretting being in love with Judas. I'd say "I guess the singer didn't wanna sound gay" but he says "I'm still in love with Judas" like 50 times -anyway- so that cancels that out.
