Thank you so much for sharing a bit more forgotten English Heritage. Superb tower Y tracery and a worthy Medieval building with some restoration. And a lovely winter's day..

It’s been 10 years since I made that video and I’ve never even heard of a Maytag. Where would I find out more about Maytag?

By the way I’m still learning about engines and other mechanical stuff, I always thought this was a villiers.

I've managed to see the Beachy Head bunker in Eastbourne during the mid 90s. Shame they filled it in. Would have made a fantastic tourist attraction.
@bmx4643 ай бұрын
This shows that when you hear "somewhere got filled" it could just be a rumour to stop people going down as the massive beachy head base - bunker you mentioned was exploded by numerous groups very recently from as little as a year ago you can watch those on here. However it now may have been somewhat secured now as rumour has it that parts of the underground structure were beginning to protrude out of the cliff! All those years & people had no idea just what was beneath their feet! I wonder what other secret places there are nearby... any others up the barn hill near hope gap? Hmmm so exciting!

Tinny stainless exhausts never sound right on the p5b
@timthemagicbus6665 жыл бұрын
What would you recommend? I would put either a Vortex exhaust or a cherry bomb [known as a glass pack.] onto a Rover P5B, a V8 should be allowed to rumble and you are right, it does sound a bit too quiet to me [American V8s are loud and proud for the most part.]
@kimlanghorn83835 жыл бұрын
@@timthemagicbus666 not at all... i had a coupe from 1982/96 and my Dad had a mk1 3 litre and a V8 saloon in silver birch.. so I'm clued up on them.. the v8 should burble at the twin pipes not echo the engine noise. Obviously my Dad's v8 was mild steel and I made a point of putting the same on my coupe..
@timthemagicbus6665 жыл бұрын
@@kimlanghorn8383 I never knew that exhausts sounded different if you used stainless steel as opposed to mild steel. I shall endeavor to get more clued up on P5B's as they are of interest to me [I sort of imagine that if Britain had took a much fuller part in the muscle car era, the Rover P5B could have been more tuned up and been a British muscle car.]
@timthemagicbus6665 жыл бұрын
@@kimlanghorn8383 I've always had a soft spot for American muscle cars and thats why I thought of glass packs.
@kimlanghorn83835 жыл бұрын
@@timthemagicbus666 sure ( I wasn't having a dig)... my Dad's 3 litre was inaudible, a lovely quiet car.. the V8s are noisier and if you like an understated burble that growles in acceleration then the mild steel is the one.
