Click baity in the sense you brought the house with your brother, not on your own, as even a low six figure income by itself won't get you a house in New York. I brought my house at 35 by myself in the LA area, including down payment of 15%. Things were a lot cheaper back then, but that is only about 12 years ago. I did have PMI but because the property appreciated I was able to get rid of that in a couple years.

I started my UX journey in Feb 2024. June 2024 I got my first job as Product Designer. The journey is not the same for everyone but it’s possible
