Hi, Have you built off road teardrop caravan ( based on Discovery 1 chassis) around 10 years and sold on eBay?

Excellent design and construction of the mud plough, is it still in existence? Love the way the mud slides down into the water!

8 years on, has the crossing completely silted up again, or would it still be possible to cross it in a 4WD?

Stupid arrogant people spoiling natural habitats.

They were opening up a ford across the creek that had been in existence for hundreds of years and thru lack of use has silted up. A really good effort to recover a lost road way. Folks do the same thing with walking rights of way that have existed for hundreds of years.

How about trying it again? Any takers?
@firdaussirazor84248 жыл бұрын
Tom Welsh I would love to see another attempt (and even be part of one). Sadly, however, I don't think my Ford Focus would get very far!
@twelsh378 жыл бұрын
He he. I waded through it a couple of weekend ago. it looks doable. just need to find a snowplough attachment
@firdaussirazor84248 жыл бұрын
Tom Welsh Well, Tom, if you " keep me in the loop" and let me know when another attempt is going to be made, I'll do my best to get over from Kent to Essex with my Chestwaders to witness the attempt and offer any assistance I can!
@twelsh378 жыл бұрын

I made a very stupid mistake about 15 years who and tried to do this in a vw polo bread van (mk 2). I managed it, just but had a mate walk parts of it with a long stick. Even had water over the bonnet a few times
