K1 Series Clone? - WHAT?! Yeah K1 is fast, but quality is dreadful, slicer is unusable and all workflow experience painflul! If it prints as good as MK4S, and 20% faster, this will print as fast as K1, but produce prints which you do not have throw in the bin

"hey this AMF standard isn't getting much support, but we think it'd be really useful, what should we do" "hear me out, make a completely new format and implement that instead" "wait, but why wouldn't we all just agree to implement AMF?" "good question." "..." "let's call it 3MF" "sure" (also, what paid software do you need to export step files? I literally just use freecad and throw them into any slicer and they work perfectly fine?)

It looks like you somehow "forgot" to mention the idiotic policy of Heygears company - CLOSED environment in 2024!!! This means 2 things - ONLY the Heygears resin and ONLY the Heygears slicer!!! So to give your review a "review" - THUMBS DOWN.
@3dnatives
@3dnatives 2 ай бұрын
Hello, I do get your point about the closed environment that HeyGears uses. This ecosystem can be viewed as a con to more advanced users that need specific resins or users on a tight budget that want to use very affordable resins (though HeyGears has released affordable resins alongside the Reflex RS), but for users that view 3D printing as tool and need an intuitive and reliable solution, having a closed ecosystem with automatic material recognition and an interconnected ecosystem can be a good thing. The closed ecosystem is also a great way to get into 3D printing and discover the hobby without dealing with too many parameters to configure. To give more context on this proprietary environment and find more info, I suggest you have a look at our review of the Reflex: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpSkd6Bvpt2VpsU Or read our reviews of both: - The Reflex: www.3dnatives.com/en/3dnatives-lab-ultracraft-reflex-3d-printer-heygears-110420244/ - The Reflex RS: www.3dnatives.com/en/3dnatives-lab-testing-hey-gears-ultracraft-reflex-rs-3d-printer-241020244/

Your standard spools won’t fit this thing. From what I have found you have to either respool all your filament or buy them from makerbot for $60 a pop. Does anyone know if I’m correct on this?
@3dnatives
@3dnatives 2 ай бұрын
You can use third party spools (whatever size), but you'll have to use the labs extruder to do so and they won't fit in the integrated containers (you can print a spool holder that attaches on the side of the printer)

@3dnatives

For the pieces we printed, we didn't have to wait too long (never more than a day and a half), but this will depend on the geometry and size of the pieces you print. If you are looking for a similar printer that offers better speed, Formlabs recently released the Form 4L. It replaces the Form3L and uses an LCD Mask and UV light source instead of the laser and galvanometer to print way faster

Hi, I'm curious how the Rayshape Edge printing results compare to the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra? Remembering that the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra same MSLA and has 12K resolution, an AI camera and has container technology that can move sideways during printing.
@3dnatives
@3dnatives 2 ай бұрын
Hello, we didn't have the opportunity to compare those printers and they don't really compete on the same playing field. Elegoo produces printers for consummer use whilst Rayshape focuses on dental and industrial applications. Depending on your use cases, materials you use, your budget and other factors, each 3D printer will fill in a different need
@doctechno2241
@doctechno2241 23 күн бұрын
Most so-called dental 3D printers are companies looking for suckers. Fundamentally the technology between the consumer and dental 3D resin printers are identical. You might have to tweak the settings a little on the consumer printer for the specific resin you want to use, but once you do that one time tweak, the consumer 3D resin printer will print that resin just as well or better than the dental 3D printer will. The Saturn 4 12K you mention will print at a better resolution than pretty much any of the dental printers.

Just talk what you like and not. it sound all like a instruction. are you using 3d printer? are you ever changed a nozzle? in 1 sec you cahnge one. wow. if you are in the industry you would recognize this was eays. but you just talk about the next. if you want to grow love what you do or should do. and if you love it. nobody knows it. sorry.

This isn't a good method of reviewing a product, it's more like an advertisement. We can read descriptions and specs, we need to see performance and the componentry not shown in the manufacturer's websites very clearly. Considering some bad reviews, I can't help but wonder if you're avoiding covering certain aspects that could make it look bad.
