Instead of checking the microwave every couple of minutes,you can set it on defrost #3 for 5 minutes..how many minutes depend on how much your melting..by setting to defrost #3,the microwave will turn on for 30 sec and off 30 sec untill minutes are up..the on and off timing/seconds will depend on microwave but they are pretty close to each other..doing it this way slowly cooks it so you dont need to keep checking..my microwave has 5 defrost settings and the higher the number,the longer the microwave stays on before it shuts off again..hopfully this makes sence

This may be a dumb idea - but you were concerned about the plastic cooling off in your injector pipes - what about insulating them with plumbers foam pipe wrap or something? Just an idea. Great content man - cheers
