I used to do that with a one penny and you could see a few prints of it along the track, bit bad, but was young and stupid

"Who knows the secrets of the Black Magic Box?" Cut to Pete, dressed in black with a dagger in his mouth, diving off Southport Pier, into shark infested waters. 😆edit: The BMW in front is just using the usual Beemer tactics to keep ahead of you. As we all know, BMW drivers own the road, so it's a case of "Get thee behind me peasant!"

76’ was dad’s DER Escort 1.1 estate, Northumberland to St Ives mum & dad upfront 2X sisters in back & me & my brother in the boot area, no seatbelt! Oh & all the luggage! How was that even possible? I still think about how we managed to get there in one peace? But it was fun, no mobiles or internet, we made our own entertainment, ps no roof rack or air on, just fords black vinyl seats🔥🥵

No no nonononono : sexy beast, enjoy the chats, my grandson (3) loves to watch the trains. For me, looking back nice, but I end circling back to what is gone (Dad) and the pain of dark times, double edged sword, if you know what i mean. Whats the phrase, looking back to much, you get depressed, look forward to much, you get anxiety. I go for happy in the now. Anyway, carry on the good work.

I always love a good level crossing, Pete.........it's where the cars meet the trains. Are you sure they were Deltics ( class 55's) that you saw in your area. I did not know of them running your way as they were generally Eastern Region engines.

I see them up here all the time Pete Sunday driver's. I don't think I need to say the film I agree with Simone. I don't think av ever commented on your driving. As far as I concerned nothing wrong it. Plenty arm chair criticism on KZbin always try and treat people the way I'd like to be treated. My Grandad on my mum's side was a signal man i used to love going with him it was really good fun.The roads where all single track then Place he worked was a small station. On the main line to Kyle of Lochalsh. Awesome footage brilliant buddy. 👍

Wow that BMW was seriously distracted by something. Shouldn't have been driving at all. KP-Papa looks so cool driving down those lanes! That old style crossing is great. I just bought a 70s Mini which I'm loving! Still want a mk3 though haha!

Hey Pete! Did you know that when you are a baby, all of your adult teeth are already in your jaw underneath your baby teeth? When my son was a toddler, he had to have an x-ray and all of the teeth were visible, it looks REALLY weird! Google it and have a look at some of the images on there 👍

Nice video Pete 😊 I've a question for you, what do you find works the best, for taking out of the modern world and back to times gone by? Music, smells? Also, will you be giving us some tech info when you fit the bulbs? Calculating current draw, wire gauge etc? Thanks for all effort you put in and for sharing with us.

Good to see you again Pete. I too was holidaying in Devon/Cornwall in '76. Had a Capri 1600GT XLR, wonderful, just wonderful memories. Also went to Looe and Polperro. Massive traffic jams on the M5 I recall, not so good. I'm 72 now and TBH, health is failing, and I recall thinking in my younger years thinking that there were better times round the corner, but really, the proper good times have gone. The good times were then. Take care mate.

I was 6 in summer 1976 , and my step dad had a 1953 morris minor 4 door split screen , i remember millions of ladybirds, we spent a few weekends in cromer norfolk back then, my sister and i would have to share a can of coke , and we would have the odd mini milk ice lolly, i remember the pain of being covered in sand sitting on the hot rear seat on way home the car was black and was like an oven , it must have had an effect on me because as a adult i can't stand the beach or sand ! We never got our first colour tv until 77 , and until the time my step dad kicked me out at 19, we never had a home telephone. Times were very hard.

July 1976 on holiday in France, I saw a boxy new style Taunus - what would soon arrive in the UK as the Cortina Mark IV. Sorry, but I much preferred it to the Mark III ! And damn, it was hot! We went in a 1973 Escort Mexico.

Tulyar 55015 is still in existance and has recently been restored. I turned 14 back in the summer of 76 and probably spent my time riding my bike and playing with my John Thomas as is common amongst 14 year old boys! I remember everything being parched and as dry as abone. My dad got one of the then brand new Rover 3500 Sd1's in August 1976 and that had velour interior with no vinyl seats to burn you, unlike mum's Fiat 128 had!
