I’ve seen the Floyd 12 times. Truly wish I had followed through on seeing David at MSG. 😢

Angela Cervantes does a version with Brit Floyd which is as close to the great Clare Torry as you could wish for. There are many versions but I prefer the original.

I saw him play this at the Royal Albert Hall back in October, it was utterly spine tingling, David was brilliant.

What's with the complaints about nobody touching Clare Torry's version? Nobody is trying to outdo her. This is simply a different artistic interpretation of an old song. I love the change up. Hauntingly beautiful, along with the addition of David's lap steel solo midway through.

This is a good tribute to Richard...was hoping to see a few moments of his image on the screen at the keyboards smiling.

Clare Torry, Sam Brown, Lillian Ximenes are probably my favorites. Romany is ok.

4 singers still cannot come close to one small English girl! Claire will forever be untouchable in this! This was just average.

Wonderful, but I do wish audiences would remain quiet and respectful during a performance. Hold the clapping, shouting and whooping until the end, it just spoils it for others.

This song hits home , 1995 I was blessed with a baby Boy, 1996 he passed away in my arms with this song playing in the background , He passed away from pneumococcal Meningitis, He was sedated with lots of morphine....He died Comfortably Numb.

Wonderful version, but it does show how exceptional Claire Torre was that it takes 3 wonderfully gifted singers to re-create what she achieved on her own.

Actually four. The piano player as well.
@geoffbevan-t4g14 күн бұрын
It’s not really about how good Claire Torre was. They changed it up to do it a bit different. Simple as that. Sam Brown smashed it on the Pulse Tour. Not to mention Australian Pink Floyd tribute bands singer. Yes, Torre was responsible for the original, which makes her clever as well.

Dave Gilmour's smile at the end is the best. We are so lucky to have him still so vital -- and with his daughter Romany joining him!
