Awesome video, thanks for sharing, as a Pennsylvanian, Lancaster, seventh generation and baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster and an avid history buff, I really enjoyed this. Dickinson College was the first College I took my Daughter to visit to decide where she wanted to attend, she ultimately decided on Gettysburg College, as we did not want her to attend Franklin and Marshall College because it was too close to home. My late Husband and I have also attended several car shows at Carlisle, amazing facility. The information about Molly Pitcher was very interesting as well.

Love your videos but really wish you'd quit using that most overused word "TON!" This gets very annoying! Otherwise, great content!

Hello I stumbled across this video as I’m from the original Carlisle Cumberland and was shocked to see the history on it they even built the same gaol (jail) as what we have in our city a copy of it. Unreal.

Thanks for the video. I have a question. Is the buyer responsible for any liens that show up in the title search before closing?

Thanks for the question! In the state of PA, a buyer can elect to make an agreement contingent upon a title search. This gives them the ability to have a title search completed to see if there are any outstanding liens and also purchase title insurance in the event something is there but just not uncovered at that time. If an outstanding lien is found during the search, the buyer has the ability to walk away from the agreement (without any penalty) if the seller is not willing to satisfy the lien.
