Thanks! I’d say the Air 2S performed well in cold, at least compared to the pilot flying it😅. It was around -20°C at that time and the drone was fine. The most important things are to keep the batteries warm before flight, and to not fly if the temperature is around 0°C or if it’s foggy because those will lead to icing on the propellers. I didn’t need any special permissions (other than the obvious ones in the EU region) at that time, but the rules have just changed in 2024 so that the Air 2S is in the A3 category (meaning you can fly only at least 150 m away from buildings and people) but DJI has announced that it would get A1 by the end of January. That would make that location possible again. I don’t know about Air 2 though. The restricted areas should always be checked on flyk.com due to the airport being nearby. @@igodronefinland I’ve been to Levi every year for the past 8 years and got married at the elf village 2 years ago. I live in the uk and done the civil Aviation authority test and have insurance, but not done the EU test.

@@Letsdothis50 The Elf village is a nice place too! But yeah, the EU test is mandatory and can be done online. You also need to register as a drone operator/pilot in Finland. I think insurance is not mandatory here for non-business flying, but it’s still good to have.

Thanks! I would recommend going to the slopes next to Zero Point. There you can see the whole town and its beautiful fireworks. It’s usually really crowded though so it’s maybe not that good for children. There is also a restaurant (Horizont) and a hotel (Panorama) at the top of that slope. They are both great spots (and calmer too), but you can’t get there easily without a taxi or a car that late in the evening. I hope you have a pleasant trip here in Finland!🇫🇮

I think tht all those smartphones ruined the concert atmosphere in the last years. I've been to so many concerts and everyone is filming instead of enjoying the moment. So annoying. I always have a smartphone shoved in my face because someone wants to film 😐
