I have 13 pairs of jeans, but I mostly wear 5 or 6 of them… so I need to do some editing! I have different lengths and fits for different vibes/looks, and also different sizes because my stomach fluctuates a lot with bloating and just general weight gain/weight loss. I’m also short and a short waisted person, but I love how high waisted jeans look on me.

I have two pairs of jeans and wear them 35% of the time in winter. I am a size 20-22 US and I want to buy more consciously (environmentally and kind for people in the industry) I live in the Netherlands and in Europe we don’t have that much choice. Lucy and Yak didn’t look good on me so I got plus size Levis and take good care of them. With chafing thighs they don’t last very long so I’m constantly looking for better brands in plus size. Ideas anyone?

Maximum denim for me was 6 pairs and I would have loved to have more. Alas, I had a corporate office job at the time. Now I have just one pair that I actually wear (more about to be donated away) but think 3 would be perfect for my life now.

Great video. I’m a jeans and Tshirt/sweater woman. Pointy shoes/boots help my short frame balance out. I own 6 pairs I wear all the time and have 4-5 I wear once in a while. I try to add a feminine accessory because I typically look quite masculine.

I embarrassingly have more than 50 pairs of jeans and thats after I sold or donated a bunch... I have always been a denim fanatic and feel confident and comfortable in denim (so its worth it right?) but to be honest depending on the season, out of all those pairs, I tend to gravitate to 5-7 pairs that are my go to. I do mix it up with designer and Zara jeans so its balance lol

I have a about 15 pairs of jeans. I have 2 boot cut, 1 high waisted wide, 2 straight leg, 5 dark and light skinny in jeans in different lengths for different shoes, 2 black, 1 grey and 1 white. I wear them all and I love them!

I have 6 pairs of jeans though what I wear depends on my weight fluctuations. 2 pairs work for summer (1 baggy blue pair, 1 white), though now that we're in fall, I'm wearing the other 4 (just too muddy and wet in the fall to wear the white pair). I'm eyeing another pair of blue jeans atm, in a barrel leg. Though half the time I am wearing trousers, since I find them more comfortable to sit and work in.

I wear 6 out of 7 pairs of jeans. I have 2 white, 2 light blue, 2 dark blue, 1 dark gray, They vary in silhouette. I stopped wearing 1 pair of dark blue jeans because they were stiff and uncomfortable, although they looked great. The older I get, the less I'm willing to sacrifice comfort.

I have digestive issues so I have the same jeans in like 3 sizes 😂 I fell into the trap of the ‘basics’ and had a jean of each colour but realised I don’t suit black so got rid so now just a light baggy pair, a mid straight pair and a white wide leg and some brown cords and I’m golden! 👍

This was SO helpful, so many great take aways - baggy straight leg with boots is ok💁‍♀️ - the bunching of baggy jeans at the bottom and what length we should look for 👍 also the info about low mid and high rise and different torso lengths 👌 As an elder millennial I remember all to well baggy wide leg jeans dragging through everything and chunky chunky round or pointy shoes. It’s great to have some direction that makes these looks fresh and modern and gives me the confidence to enjoy wearing them. Thank you AB. An accessories or stying oversize looks would be awesome ❤

Because I’ve been around about 3 times longer than you and have jeans that I’ve had for years I probably have about 30 pairs 🤦🏻‍♀️I am curating my collection though and have learned that I can’t do wide leg stiff trousers like wide leg jeans but if I’m doing wide leg I need a more flowy fabric. The straight jeans and flares look best on me I think. I tend towards dark wash black and grey and only have 2 pairs of lighter wash ones. This was interesting re the shoes 👏

Right now, because I’m pregnant, I only have 6 pairs of jeans. I obviously wear the hell out of them. Before the pregnancy I had 15 pairs of denims and about the same amount of pants. And yes, I wore the most of them quite often, because I like to change things up and dress according to my mood AND the weather 😊 so it’s different jeans for different occasions/moods/temperatures…

I have re-watched this video, and your videos in general, the most of any youtuber. Thank you for bringing your expertise and personality here! I have 11 pairs, and I love jeans. I live in a rural/remote town and have 4 true seasons to consider, with lots of snow and -20C and colder winters and rough roads any other time of year. This has pushed my shoe (and therefore my jean) choices in a different direction than I'm used to. This video helped me further conceptualize my version of shoe/jean pairing that still feels like me but fits a different environment, and is cementing my move away from chasing trendy denim. Im holding on to a few pairs of skinnies because they were the perfect skinnies for me but aren't reaching for them post lockdown. I own another 7,8 pairs of more relaxed jeans, which I wear maybe only half of them frequently.

The part about “things that do not fit” hit hard. And for me, it’s literal.

Personally for my body shape I was sorely disappointed in Jeanerica. They seem to make jeans for very narrow hips to the point that my 40 in hips and 28 in waist just fit into their biggest size offered. In this day and age that is absolutely bonkers! Also the butt pockets on their largest size are massive! The pockets literally extend past where my but ends and onto the back of my thigh... as those with a more voluminous butt will know, we don't need big ass pockets! Such a bummer that they don't account for more curvaceous bodies in their designs as the quality of the fabric and cuts are exceptional, but only if you have the french girl straight narrow hips :/ Sidenote, the best pair of fitting jeans I have ever owned have come from Abercrombie's curvy collection, in case you are like me and struggle to find the jeans for you! Also I'm always open to adding to my jean collection so please share brands that work on measurements like mine and are 32 -34 in inseam if you've got them c:
