I have the SE 2nd gen with a Y shaped spider crack in the home button. They estimate the cost of replacing the screen at $100

You can get a $40 refurbished original apple display on eBay then replace it yourself using an ifixit guide.

@@technowworld1441 I’m tired of Apple touches and now there phone. I’m going to try and learn how to use the other type of phone. I always used a flip phone until this year. But I’ve had there iPod touch 6 and another one 6-months later and both batteries started to die out around 6-8 months. My iPhone 7 ($125) was used as WiFi only but I love it and it’s 2yrs old. I paid less for the 7 than another iPod touch. I paid $300 for the SE in March and now you can get one for about $180-200.

no the only way you can get touch id back is going thru apple (i’m pretty sure they do it) but at home replacements, and tech shops won’t be able to put touch id in

You should really replace the waterproof seal it takes about 1 min to install ans costs about 2$

Tools came with the battery. But you don't show how to UN-plug it from the motherboard.
