Would love to have seen this done with humbuckers also. The Sheffield sounds great. Save you money on the Celestian and buy another piece of gear, like an EQ pedal for this, or any amp. Every guitar player should have at least a 6 band EQ pedal. The you can 100% avoids buying a ton of gear you never even needed.

Just curious as which Speaker you ended up keeping in your red stripe as both sound great but it sounds like the creamback is more 3d sounding where the 1230 is more directional like a closed back almost

have you ever had problems considered that the Red Stripe is 100w and the creamback only 75w?

Thanks for a great comparison! I've been using the BB in my studio for 5 years and love it - the Clean Channel is my always on , particularly for my Strat and Sadowsky HSH, so no need to duplicate with the Victory. That said, I have also been using the Victory Copper Pedal for a couple of years and it suits me for my Gretsch and Casino for a more Vox AC30 touch (BB more of a Fender / Dumble approach). Both terrific Brit exports! Rule Britannia 😅My next likely purchase for the studio is the Duchess Head so I can use the Copper with it as a quick switch option . . .

Hola.
@lesdiana912811 ай бұрын

Saludos!

I think it's more like a Modern C, it's not a very thin neck, but the shape is enough comfortable to play almost anything... I'm 1.78 cm tall, so my hands are not too big, and this neck is very comfortable to me to play chords and melodies... Thanks for watching!

I actually thought the v4 may have sounded a very little bit better here. But to me the green (clean) channel on the blackbird is the best clean channel I’ve ever heard out of any pedal preamp. It adds this beautiful sparkle to your amp like a old blackface fender. That channel also sounds amazing as a clean boost into the distortion channel of my Elmwood Modena m60. I use it pretty much as a “always on” pedal for that amp. For that channel it makes it a no brainer decision to get the blackbird. I understand you didn’t show the clean channel on the blackbird cuz the v4 doesn’t have one. Thanks for the awesome comparison 👍

You took the words right out of my mouth! The BB Clean is my always on either into my Blues Jnr. or DI into Pro-Tools. The OD Channels both excellent as amply demonstrated here.

It’s pretty versatile and can be set to sound similar to both, but when set a certain way they sound a lot like a Marshall Plexi. I have been able to get Fender like scooped mid cleans, as well as Marshall lead tones. It’s a very versatile amp. They are often called “The poor man’s Plexi”, so…
