Then, as long as you keep the film sprayed wet with your install solution, there should be no more fingerprints or transfer from your hands. When you are first grabbing the film spray your hands before touching, then wet the film. Should be good! Have fun!

We start with the area of most reference points (corners, sensors, tow hook cover, etc.) Then you move to the next in line while keeping lined up for the next push. If it is a very shapely bumper sometimes we will go to the outermost point to get the material more evenly stretched and then come back for inner points. Experience will tell you which route is best!

Good question! The dirt is merely ON the surface instead of settled INTO the surface due to the new ceramic coating. By ceramic coating your vehicle's surfaces you have a much slicker surface that gives you a real advantage when it comes to cleaning. With significantly less cleaning efforts you achieve a bright, clean surface!

Evo Dingo The only situation where that MAY be a possibility has nothing to do with heat but rather a fresh paint job. If paint has not cured properly before installation there is a chance the adhesive on the film can bond with the paint. Any properly applied and cured paint job is a prime candidate for XPEL in any weather!

Won't dish washing soap strip the clear coat? what about the pH balance in the dish washing soap?

Good question John. You would NOT want to wax before installing XPEL because the film needs to adhere to your paint, not the wax. If you have already waxed or sealed your car that's ok. We would recommend something like Griot's Garage Paint Prep to remove the product to get back to bare paint for a good and proper install. When XPEL is installed over waxes or sealants or ceramic coatings it becomes vulnerable to high pressure car washes and compressed air since it does not have a solid adhesion to the paint.
