1. Niet beťára v Pohorelej, len ja sám, kde sa bijú štyria-piati a ja sám. Postavím sa, šejahoj, štyrom-piatim žandárom, to sa povie pohorelský beťár som. 2. Ja už viacej taký beťár nebudem, dve frajerky sebe trimať nebudem. Ale budem, šejahoj, trimať sebe zo štyri, vtedy budem parobeček poctivý.

The text from what i hear is very similar(if not identical) to rež rež rež, a Moravian song, but the melody is totally different.. but I'm really not an expert😅 Just very interested in Czech, Moravian and Slovak culture.😊

I've been trying to get to learn Czech culture (traditions, dances, music) for over 2 years now, because I find the language just so beautiful (to me the most beautiful one in the world) and I thought, there has to be something in their culture that's as beautiful. But I'm getting the feeling more and more that there isn't such a thing (for my personal opinion!) in Czechia except in Moravia. And even there it's only the regions that are influenced heavily by Slovaks. Of course I was confronted with Slovak culture on my search so many times and there are still so many songs I don't know where they're originally from - SK or CZ. I love everything about Slovak culture. These dances, this music, simply perfect in my eyes(and ears). Exactly as beautiful as Czech language sounds to me. But this here, everything shown in this video, is somehow... my heart. It's exactly what I've always searched for in CZ culture and could never really find something like this. If someone knows some Czech dances like these which are truly Czech, please tell me. And if there aren't any... Well, I knew 2 years ago I someday had to come to Slovakia. ;D

I'm sorry but there really aren't any ”truly Czech” dances like these anywhere in the Czech Republic except those southern Moravian regions near the Slovak border. You are much more likely going to find something similar in southern Poland, Hungary, Zakarpatia region of Ukraine or Romanian Transylvania rather than in Bohemia. That's because this is Carpathian culture and can only be found in the Carpathian basin.
