Awesome video.. very informative. For others watching and learning , the eyebolts are supposed to be the weakest link in the system. It is better to bend one and replace it than to go through all the steps involved in this video. Do not get bigger eyebolts and weld the separations on them. They are an integral fail safe. Cheers

Have you experienced intermittent operation from this? Mine freezes, shuts off, and restarts.. it is not a consistent recording. Looking for customer support, have hit a dead end.. I feel like I wasted my money

I have the Houghton 15K heat pump. There are no videos on how to get the cover off and do a maintenance on it like cleaning all the coils, etc. It would be great if you made one!

I like your idea of having some stilts in place being that it's older camper. After I fix my lift system I'm going to use some nice white PVC tubes put some slots in them and put them on the four corners when camping. Thank you for the great video!

I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. kzbin.infoUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...

Be careful with extension cords. Use a 10 gauge cord, as short as possible. It can overheat and melt the connectors.

No. The fan stays on, and the compressor shuts off.

amzn.to/42F17Z7 I just used 2 32gb SanDisk microSD cards. It takes 2 cards. One for the side cameras and one for the front and back cameras.

Though I didn't use it, to my understanding, the yellow wire is a ground to bleed off induction that could cause electrical interference in your video. I didn't use it, and I don't have interference.

@@rightdirectiondrv Yellow cable connection method: The yellow cable of the side camera is connected to the positive terminal of the corresponding turn signal, and the yellow cable of the rear camera is connected to the positive terminal of the reversing light. It will automatically change the cameraview.

After testing everything imaginable on my Coleman AC, I ordered my RecPro this morning. I chose RecPro not only because of good reviews but because of low power draw and weight. I'll be running it off of a small generator and hopefully won't need to install a soft start.

@Lil heat pump they way this unit comes, there is no way to connect a thermostat. There might be an additional part that can make it work but not sure

I have the Rec Pro A3800 NON-ducted and My question is. Does air come out of the adjustable vents? Only Place I feel cooling air is on the sides of the unit.

Luckily I didn't have that problem but I can't think of another way except to manually run the cable. This would require much more work and disassembling more of the camper to access the pulleys. Good luck.

Thanks for responding. Do you know if on the 1706 xl starflyer there were safety support bars to prevent the roof from falling down in case a cable breaks? I inherited this pop-up from my parents, they passed away some time ago, and I am now camping in it. They shipped the camper over to the Netherlands in 1980.

I would say there is probably something to protect the top from falling. With mine there was meter sleeves that you put on the outside. I also know that the crank locks that will keep it up and all 4 cables would have to break at the same time or the main cable would have to break for it to fall. For extra safety and to remove the pressure from the cables . Get some poles for the inside.

How long was the safety poles you have on the inside and where did you buy them.

It's was awhile ago and I don't have the exact length. I'm guessing the length will vary depending on your camper. The poles I used were from a safety fence that goes around a pool. They just happen to be the perfect size.
