Years ago (I would think around 2005-6) I was on an Air Canada 777 from Heathrow to YYZ. We hit a Canadian goose (ironic af) on the port side engine on accent and tried landing three times back in London. This was without dumping fuel, they decided to continue on to Toronto. We landed in Toronto on time, but instead of the jetway, they popped the slides on all doors. One to remember lol. This was on runway 05/23 (3400m long) in the middle of winter lol….. the plane was fine but got written off after that nonsense.
