I heard that this hotel is the most luxurious in DPRK and open for foreigners only I’m not surprised that the hotel installs a souvenir shop because the government want to collect foreign money due to the economic sanctions

Google says this hotel is permanently closed? That can't be true. Can anyone confirm it?

I'd like to get English editions of the Kim's books to put in my mancave library. You're not allowed to bring in outside reading material. Knowing how easily bored I can get, I'd have read everything.

Why? You are allowed to take photographs. Not of the military, but other things you see are not off limits. So, another "wrong" about NK.

@@petergilkes7082 The comment was figuratively based on the way he places his hand on the camera. I know that it cannot be confiscated because that would be stealing, and that is not common in Asian countries. What they can do is review the photos you took and delete the most "compromising" ones.

DPRK does admit a couple of thousands foreign visitors each year. He's OK doing this, his guides (minders) would have told him to stop right away if he was doing something that is prohibited.

Correct - I was surprised at how much we were allowed to film in DPRK - our guides kept an eye on us though. Also, cameras were sporadically checked on the train out of the country, hence one should be careful about commentary and content.

It's just woow I can't even describe it. But to have such good talents at such young age must be mean that those children of the DPRK aren't have any Freedom at all, it's well how can you describe it, it's like a yeah a show, or a line where the kids have to hold. Pardon English isn't my native language so therefore I can't describe it as good as i want to. It's just kinda odd.
