I didn't realize that the other version of this I watched which is also on this channel was missing some of the beginning😮I really wanted to comment though cause I noticed quite a few people bashing the ml. From the time he was wrongly sentenced the ml set plans in motion to get back everything he lost when he was sent to prison. He planted a mole in the midst of his enemy for 3 whole years without his enemy suspecting anything! When that family was executed it was on HIS orders. When those people tried to kill him on the train the ml knew it was a set up from the beginning. I was impressed by how he identified each and every attempt to murder him. The ml ended up fighting off his attackers (while not having his full strength which is explained later by the fl). At that banquet the ml summoned his enforcers and those who refused to repent were punished so how the HECK was he useless???? Compared to other action/fantasy dramas where the ml is stuck with a useless female the ml in this drama had a woman who was devoted to him from beginning to end. Her faith in him was unshakeable. She could fight alongside her man and she had no problem fighting for him or giving up her life for his if she had to. IMO this couple is one of the best drama couples ever. This couple worked as a team and trusted each other. I don't usually rewatch dramas but this for me is worth more than one rewatch.
