This was my favorite song along with one of my school buddies. ..... My friend from highschool, Bobby Shaw, we would go to see the Deftones every time they came and I remember this song coming on and we took off and pushed our way up front and had thr best time .... The Capital Ballroom in DC was the best one .... Bobby ended up being killed the next summer .... So this song will always be his ..... We were just silly kids hanging from age 14 to 17, he was hit by a car while he jumped out to spray paint along a highway :( ..... He was the type of kid that was very different, never had a GF really, great skateboarder, great artist and graffiti in particular, extremely free spirit, oddly polite and very kind, hilarious, always opened his home up to everyone. Rock in peace, Bobby....

Ah, man. A little tempo control would really go a long way for this song live. They always either rush or drag the chorus on this song and it kills me.

I love how absolutely aggressive this song is and how Chino is just rocking out with the crowd, despite the barrier. While the audience is pogoing and not just killing each other. Nirvana was all about that too, let it out. Don't take it out. Even Pantera was all about that.

I was off somewhere being 12 years old when this happened 😱 But 15 years later, I got to see them, post Chi (RIP). We somehow made it to the front despite the intense crowd. I got to be hands on, passing a much heavier crowd-surfing Chino back and forth a few times. We handled him like fine china. Dude puts in WORK at his shows. So freaking fun 🤣
