This movie seems way more relevant today than when it was made. We need dozens of Paul Kersey's today. In reality every single person he shot was an armed robber who he was protecting himself from, so how he's the criminal here is beyond me, sounds a lot like what's happening today now don't it?? How terrible is it that the moral of the story is that things are so bad that if you stay out on the street long enough, you'll eventually find yourself confronted by killers and if you defend yourself you suddenly become a "VIGILANTE"😮

Back then the lighting was much dimmer in the NYC subway stations - making the whole place that much more creepy - so perfect for this film ..

Clear Incandescent lighting bulbs used back then manufactured for NYCT. Back in the days when the MTA was independent.

I did an extras job in the mini series. Kennedy with Martin Sheen...He was an amazing person...During breaks he did not go out to another room with all the other stars...he stayed with the extras, laughed and played cards with us...He is a great person.

Oh Sorry. When in NYC in September of 2001 or as some people call it there "The Big Apple", I remember being at University Place Film School when many of us people on the streets had seen the first Tower (the North Tower) fall down right before our very eyes. And what a Horrible site it was. Never forget it. I knew many First responders and Law Enforcement men who were victims of that attack. As far as your question about South Ferry. I have no idea. Yup. When everyone is chilling out home with their family enjoying hugs, laughs, smiles, kisses etc.... the 94 members are working during those times that non essential workers arent. Examples were 9/11 and hurricane Sandy but there's many other times that are non emergency because many buildings operate and must be staffed 24/7. The lifeblood of Manhattan is the 94 members who keep the buildings going for the owners, tenant occupants and their employees.

That's crazy it was just lightning and raining a little like that on that night in the west village when in my neighborhood it was like a tornado was trying to blow through. it is so calm out there with just the flickering of the lightning.
