It was such a wonderful video. Ultimately we have to follow these steps: 1. Be present-minded 2. Take participation in social gatherings. 3. Be more productive, think, and observe others. 4. Become careless and speak 5. get out of your comfort zone.

It’s a shame this world judges the way it does. Judging someone wearing a hoody? But treating the asshole cheating on his wife in a suit? Why do we judge by outward appearances? Superficial bullshit world. Glad judgment is coming. All I gotta say.

“Start with eye contact and a smile” Okay… “Give some small talk” … “After that, use some witty banter and that’s it. No need to over complicate the process.” You lost me at small talk. Edit: All jokes aside, this generation is poor with communication with a small portion of men actually being outgoing while a decent chunk of us are introverted. And obviously a girl isn’t gonna walk up to you and talk to you even if she likes you. She’s gotta be really down bad for you in order to even look your way and say “Hello”. To them that’s like asking them to get to the moon without a rocket, it’s impossible. That’s why studies say young men reportedly have 1 close friend or none and no romantic relationships to speak of. The men loneliness epidemic is real.

My road block is having the urge to talk. I’ll just sit there dead face in a social setting and I’ll desire to talk to everyone but the urge isn’t there. Or I will say something and get no response and the vibe just gets awkward. I don’t wanna say much after that cause I feel like I’ll just make it worse.

This is really important iinforamation. Your intro is very illuminating and step 1 instructions is great, stay calm, don't push the banter paradigm boundaries. Rather than isolate, stay in the mix, and once again, don't say something that may cause grave insult or personal injury.. Alterantively, if you are at a loss for words, it;s okay to remain silent.

Sitcoms, comedies, and funny movies make me cringe and hate the laugh tracks. I’m on the spectrum where I struggle with social skills and confidence, I’m very serious and I can passive aggressive or passive than assertive. I feel that religion and politics separate us more than connect us. I don’t talk about sex or poen. I find flirting is easy in theory but difficult in actuality. It’s so easy to be put into the friend zone or creepy zone. Yet I am learning with these mkdules on how to flirt as a beginner as I do want a GF one day. I just have to practice a lot. It’s not so much the small talk or open-close convos. It’s more I tend to mock than banter. I’m learning not to be the shy guy/nice guy even though I am quiet. I am mkre of an introvert than extrovert. A social introvert and intuitive extrovert. I’m learning not to beat myself up and self-doubt. Also to nkt freeze as much(be scared of my voice or what to say).

What am I going to implement first? Getting aware about what I want (what I don't want is pretty clear) and how to get there. Not feeling guilty about making myself a priority and asking for what I want. Trying not to explain myself, a hard one! It is all important what you said and I do already stand up for myself it is just that the environment these days (even I moved to another country and people are way more pleasant here) do not seem to understand or support that much standing up for yourself maybe because they are afraid to do it themselves or lack of self awareness and confidence. Lots of underdogs out there! And the overdogs like the narcs, it is them that scare me the most because they are so agressive and I am too gentle over all. They are sneaky in their manipulations and letting you feel guilty for normal behaviour. Work in progress.. thank you so much for your contribution to empower others!

I've heard some people say that part of the journey or the process of getting better socially or just developing social confidence, as in, part of the learning process is being a former weird or annoying person, what I mean specifically is we have to make social mistakes or social errors that caused people to either be annoyed or offended by our presence and that helps us learn from our mistakes and and the end of the day helps us get better. Do I have the right mindset or not?
