Hi Martin, I'm working on a short film about the future of the Lido, would it be okay to use this footage in it? If so, who would i need to credit? Any help would be much appreciayed, thank you - Paul

Hi Paul, the original footage was a cine film recorded by my Dad who's no longer with us. It would be nice if there's a simple way to add footage by Bryan Cox but not a big issue if it's a hassle. By the way, I'm the child in the rowing boat and I was born in September '62 so it's easy to date the footage. I think the full real mentions that it's June but can't be sure. The rower of course is my Dad 🙂

@@martincox9317 Hi Martin, what an awesome story and clearly a very precious piece of footage. More than happy to credit it as by Bryan Cox. Thank you!

The year I was born - remember many happy times there in what must be late 60s

Most excellent video. I was not actually born then, but when I was eleven in 1976, I would go there many times. Where the high dives there then. I don't think so?

Loved that, thanks. A wonderful trip into the past thanks to your Dad’s interest in filming long before it became the norm. You & Tim have hardly changed!

HI Kevin, Yes, me too. It was quite moving hearing it broadcast out in the open and stunned everyone into silence..
