question is how do u remove the sticky glue
@beninchesapeake
@beninchesapeake Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. The glue on mine wasn't sticky so I didn't have that problem. My headliner was so old that the glue was completely solid. Doing it like this removed everything all the way down to the original headliner board. You are the second person who commented about sticky glue so there must be a difference in what you are encountering and what I did. When I did mine there was no sticky glue residue and the headliner board was very clean and ready to recover.

Thanks for watching. I totally agree, it's one of the dumbest ideas of all time. I know they have those bypass devices but I really don't want to spend over $100 for one. And more importantly to me I don't want to mess with anything in the electrical system.

@@Gapbriel Thank you for responding. I have been on three 2000 mile road trips since installing this and have had no problems with it. On my most recent trip to Tennessee I was caught in two very bad thunderstorms and the deflector is still solid. The adhesive tape that comes preinstalled on the product is VERY strong.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. My hood shakes a bit at high speed but nothing that has scared me. I have been on two 2000 mile trips and my best MPG was 25.9. I don't know if my hood was shaking before since I installed the deflector when it was new.

Hi! You can just say the temperature, you don’t need to say “turn on the air conditioning”. Next time just try "seventy degrees" and it will do the job. Just like the radio, if you just say the station you want, it will turn the radio directly to the station. The same for the address, if you say the number and the street you want to go to, the map will be activated and the path added to your route.

Tks for the link, still just $99. When sitting behind the wheel, what bothered me was seeing the two big "humps" on the hood (look good from the outside)...wonder if the deflector kind of makes those two humps disappear or blend in to where it won't bother me? @@beninchesapeake

@@ofcbob6391 You're welcome. It surprised me that Ford was the cheapest place to buy, and the fast delivery to the dealer was great. I had concerns about the height of the deflector, but after driving my BS for over 6 months I can honestly say it never bothers me. I wouldn't say the humps disappear, but I have gotten used to them. I like the BS, and it looks good from the outside, but in my opinion the hood looks huge from behind the steering wheel.

This wasn't really meant to be a public video. I posted it to show a friend of mine how I managed to drop this solid oak 8" x 8" x 6' post from the bed of my truck directly into the hole. The post was too heavy for me to pickup so I had to dig the hole perfectly since I would only get one shot. There would have been no way for me to remove the post if I needed to dig deeper. Once the hole was ready, with the tailgate down I backed up so the edge of the tailgate was even with the edge of the hole. Then I slid the post out until it started to tip and guided it right into the hole!
