As an American whose grandparents came to this country, legally to make it their home I am grateful that they did. I just wonder why others want to run away from their homelands because of the suffering they are experiencing there. But why do they not fight for their countries to become as free and strong as the early Americans? I now know. They came for religious freedom to worship the God of the Bible and they were willing to pay the ultimate price for that prize. "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord" Psalm 33:12.

Think of Rwanda, what the Houthis did to the Tutsis! The same principle! PROPAGANDA, PROPAGANDA, PROPAGANDA!!!! Until your brain is poisoned and you think you are on the side of the truth! But also a perfect example of the fact that not only white people can be racist, as many people of color think, especially in the USA.

This hit hard for me 😢 I use to work across the street from the towers a year before this happened 👀 had friends who worked there 😢 that morning I just made it to work before they shut the train stations down, from my job window we seen the towers fall, unbelievable shock 😮 me and my pregnant sister worked in the same building in Times Square and had to walk uptown to harlem to get home, there was absolutely no room on any buses, I was praying she didn’t go into labor

I lost a friend from this, not from the 9/11 but following. He was a pilot for United and I explained that hating all Muslims was wrong. Told him of my awesome uncle in Alliquippa, Pennsylvania who married my Mother's sister, a hard working and a very kind and gentle man. His children, my 3 cousins were so well behaved. He would arrive late each Christmas Eve to my Grandmother's house after closing his business for the night. I never heard from that pilot again, no great loss with that attitude.

Passengers on some of the other planes might have fought back if they had understood what was happening. But up until that time, hijackers would typically make demands and negotiate, with any hostages eventually being released safely. So the conventional wisdom said to stay calm and cooperate if your flight was hijacked, and you would most likely be all right. Flight 93's passengers found out via cell phone what had already happened with the other planes--that's why they chose to act, knowing that they were very likely to die either way, but that they could save others if they fought back and brought the plane down before it reached its destination.

I worked in Army Intelligence in the 1970s in West Germany. We had stations all over West Germany and ONE in West Berlin. There was one train that crossed into Soviet territory to get to West Berlin. A lot of folks volunteered to get on that train. The problem was the Soviets, could stop that train anytime they wanted. And they did it. I was NOT getting on that train with my Army Intelligence patch on my uniform. No way. If you were military, you had to go in uniform. I know some guys that did it, but unless I was given orders, I was staying right where I was. I would have loved to have been in Germany when the Berlin Wall fell though. We worked so hard during the Cold War to make that happen. It would have been great to see it fall. It's a tradition for American soldiers to pass out candy to kids in war zones. When my husband was in Iraq we sent loads over there for the guys to give out. War is hard enough, making a kid's day better, is priceless. I think they were doing it in WWI also. The amount of money in circulation in any country is a problem of there is too much. With excess money, comes inflation. If they keep printing/creating money (and the US is guilty of this now) it will get out of control. This is going to be the question for the next decade, if not now. I would not be surprised to see a market crash in the next year or two. They will blame on Trump, but it's been building for over 20 years now.

I am over 75 and was reduced to tears when I heard this cover of The Sound of Silence by Disturbed. The original made you think but this version penetrated every pore and affected me from head to toe. David's voice and interpretation of the lyrics, and the awesome accompaniment are perfect. I never tire of listening and am moved by David's vocals-he feels every note. The lyrics from the past stand the test of time. However, this is like a religious experience.
