I sill remember the day I bought Bloodborne. My best buddy and I were super broke, but I had just turned 18 and we pooled our money to buy a ps4 and a game. We were never really into other Souls games so idk what made us buy Bloodborne but holy hell it was the best purchase we ever made. Whenever I see videos about Bloodborne, it takes me back of those many sleepless nights where we’d played that game together either on a shared save or our individual ones. That poor ps4 who i’ve now gained 100% custody over after so many custody weekends lmao Although our friendship didn’t survive college, I still have those fond memories to look back on.

Ah... This hunt will never truly end. Forevermore will there be prey to slaughter, beasts to fell, champions with which to do glorious battle. Such is the truth of the hunt. It's never about the destination. The hunt, the real thrill of it, is the hunt itself. Go, good hunters, go forth and slay, slay all that you see before you. May your hunts be fruitful, and your bounties many.

I think it’s a great fight but the presentation is ass. Give it more buildup, a cutscene and a better arena and it’s potentially S tier. Also may I ask why you still play on ps4 ? You obviously really like games and play them quite a bit, why not invest in a current gen console ?
@Halberick6 ай бұрын
@@elien902 I agree with you, Rellana could be a better one if they built her up a little more. now about the investment, the only reason why I don't do it is the lack of money man. here where I live it's not that easy to buy "gaming" things and I'm not in a very good time in my life. I have this ps4 and a friend helps me buy some games because of the shared account thing, so we cut the full value in half. also I'd love to invest in a PC, but that's out of though at the moment unfortunately

Do you think this is now the best dragon fight in the series ?
@Halberick6 ай бұрын
honestly... I was afraid of this question. there is a lot to process when it comes to "dragon boss", but I like to divide in three categories: epicness: a dragon boss must feel like you're fighting a dragon, right? you need to feel fear and admire such majestic creature. they are the peak of power in most cultures and stories after all; gameplay: a dragon boss is tough to do right since it's usually really big and the camera can mess the things up. it also needs, in my opinion, to have safe punishes after fire breaths for example, so you don't feel like you're just running the entire time; how dragon it is: in a sense of design, how close to a dragon figure we know and love it is. this part can be really subjective, since there are loads of dragons and interpretations, but I like to have the basic definition in mind: four legs, two wings, big boi. just like in d&d. so, with all of this said, I think Bayle has all of them. but so does Midir. gameplay wise, Bayle is more aggressive and less predictable, you can't just walk backwards and hope to dodge everything like you do with Midir. the soundtrack is amazing, and truly captivates the one playing into thinking of this grotesque figure's tragedy with the somber and creepy cello as it slowly crawls his way to you. his attacks are a masterpiece, not only visually, but mechanically, it all works perfectly well. not a single bullshit move (different from the final boss. I hated it.) His ultimate attacks in second phase can all be punished, he's fast but fair, it's amazing. so, in my opinion, Bayle is INDEED the best dragon boss From has ever made, one step above Midir. even though he's build like a Wyvern and it is, well... in that state, he resembles a dragon enough for me. BUT. for ME, Midir is the best dragon boss because of all it represents. my FAVORITE dragon boss of all midia, however, is Fatalis from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
@Apholyum6 ай бұрын
@Halberick What are you on about? The best dragon boss is definelly the ancient wyvern from ds3
@Halberick6 ай бұрын
only in your mind. or haven't you fought the hellkite dragon? (not even a boss...)
@elien9026 ай бұрын
@@Halberick thanks for the answer! I can agree with almost everything but for the soundtrack Midir’s OST just sounds way more iconic for me. Bayle’s soundtrack, while epic never really clicked for me yet.
@Halberick6 ай бұрын
@@elien902 oh no, don't get me wrong. the fact that I like Bayle's ost doesn't mean I don't enjoy Midir's. Actually I like it better and it's still one of my favorites from Dark Souls!

Incredible. How many hours roughly does it take you to learn a fight this way ?
@Halberick6 ай бұрын
@@elien902 glad you liked it friend! so, when I want to just KILL the boss at level 1, it's usually around 20 minutes. (that's because I tend to learn them properly on my first playthrough already) but when I'm making these videos I always try to show something cool you can do in the boss fights, like attacking while they're attacking, dodging by just walking, conscious stance breaks and in general I try to make something cool to watch know? I would say it usually takes around 3 hours, but this one took a while, probably around 6, and particularly I had lots of trouble with him in general, I always suffer a bit with "Beast-like bosses". I tend to have a better time with the humanoid ones. it was the hardest Elden Ring boss for me to make a cool video because of two things: 1 - its ice attacks 2 - it has a fast headbutt I couldn't property react (I play on base PS4 so there is some input delay and also unstable 30 fps) and that's it friend
