I’m using one right now, it definitely does great on the first label but I can’t get it to do the back label.

I didn't see how it applies the rear label. I can see the rear label in the video but it never goes on the bottle.

I bought a KegLand version from MoreBeer, same as the one in this video only the beer-out is a little improved and the gas & beer connectors are DuoTight versions on mine. (It comes in 2 versions, DuoTight or barb.) They all work exactly the same way, so this video captures the essence of the process perfectly. :)

What would you think happen if you increase pressure from a gas tank while using white rubber gasket? Lets say up to 5 psi? Will it hold it? Why does your blow off was venting when there was so small amount of pressure? Shouldn't it start to vent after 10 psi in the fermenter? "The correct pressure to set the tank regulator to for use with the WE399 is 2-5 psi. The bleeder valve that is part of this kit has an auto blow off at 10 psi, so having the regulator any higher than that will cause the bleeder valve to vent to the atmosphere and thus drain your gas tank."

Got mine last week and have it all set up. Amazing design! Lid clamp is a little clumsy but otherwise extremely pleased with this conical.

Part of the challenge with this video is that the fresh yeast still has a lot of Trub in it (dark particulate matter) which is undesirable in yeast you are pitching into a new batch. Once the Trub settles out, the trap should be dumped, trap washed and sanitized then re-attached to the conical, valve opened up to capture pure beautiful creamy Trub-free yeast, which then can be used to make a starter for your next beer. I'm really surprised somebody, anybody has not commented on this previously, especially More Beer techs.

How is the sparging step carried out?
@chrisgbeer10 жыл бұрын
Most people will let it drip till most excess liquid is out and that's it. You start with more liquid then needed for pre-boil so you don't have to sparge.

Well, it is a really good machine, but it is damn expensive. I think I will try to make a similar one, i.e. a DIY version of it...

I'm from Brazil and I have friend who makes 100 liters from a MB 50l, So I think it's a good investment. It's the best machine you can buy for this price, for home brew. In the video he is showing a BM 20l, I think.

Is it a 20 or 50 litre system in the video? I am considering buying it, but the problem is that 20 litre is too small, and 50 litre is quite expensive....

being totally honest, washing it after the the brewing process is the most simple thing you'll have to do.

I struggle with "bombs". The pressure inside the bottle is to high and when I remove bottle-filler the whole bottle turns into foam :( To much pressure in my keg? What is ideal keg pressure?

There may well be staff at Morebeer who "sell" hops and other items who don't fully understand the use of such items. ...Imagine, if you will, any retail business out there, let's say a Kwik Shop or maybe even a grocery store. Hardware store? Whatever. The cashier who 'sells' items may not be experts but will provide the transaction. There are those employed elsewhere in such businesses that are well versed however. I've always gotten answers when contacting these guys. My .02. Cheers

@mariorodriguez729712 жыл бұрын
that is a sanitary, inline sight glass AKA tri clover fitting, for a conical fermenter is usually 1.5"-2" wide and is attached at the bottom of the conical to collect and /or dump the yeast cake.
