Thank you so much for your content. I have stumbled around FCPX for 15 years creating videos for my farm and ranch brokerage. completely self-taught and all the frustrations that comes with that. I decided to begin again and came across your channel. I’m 70 yrs old so got a bit of a late start. Old dog…new tricks. Thank you so much and I have subscribed to your channel. Jim in Oregon

Hey Jim! So glad you are learning from the tutorials. I try to make them easy to understand. Your comment makes me feel good about doing them and that I’m helping people like you to get their video projects done. That also proves “ you can teach an old dog new tricks.” Take care and keep up the good farming work so we can all eat! Have a nice day Jim!

I think it is terrible. I tried it and it took a beautifully lit morning light and turned it into a flat cool light. I tried it over and over again and it would actually take a golden hour shot and made it flat. I will stick to doing my own grading the way I want.
@finalcutproclasses4 ай бұрын
It really depends on the original footage. AI can improve some shots but most times you have to do some manual tweaking. So still the old saying is true.. “if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself”. Wait a couple years though and I bet it will be so much better. 😉

Constructive criticism friend, the audio quality is intolerable. Suggestion is dampen the environment (blankets?) and use a better mic.
@finalcutproclasses4 ай бұрын
Yea I know because my screen recording was interfering with the audio in Fcp while I was making the tutorial.. sorry about that and thanks for the feedback!

@@finalcutproclasses On a positive note, I do like your circular PIP for the screen recording. And it was a GREAT tutorial.

@@BlakeLane555 🙂Thanks Blake! I don't know why when I opened up the sound panel for the VO in FCP it over modulated the screen sharing audio. But I'm glad you liked the video anyway. I'm pretty sure the audio in the others are ok..🙂 Thanks again for the feedback!

Good video. Is there a way to sync different multiple video clips to different multiple audio clips at the same time like batch sync?
@finalcutproclasses5 ай бұрын
You can make a multiclip if you have no audio reference and manually sync, or use the Synchonize Clip feature if you have an audio reference to the video.

@@finalcutproclasses i've been using it on/off for over a decade, every other video editing software makes more sense in a video editing concept, it just feels unnecessarily backwards compared to the others. And i just can't comprehend the fact that i just can't move my clips around freely WITH the snapping, why does it always have to be connected somewhere somehow? It's a rather simple request, which all other editors don't seem to struggle with.

Hi John, I hope this message finds you well. I've recently subscribed to your KZbin channel, and I've already found several of your tips very helpful in my project work. Given your extensive experience with Final Cut, I'm reaching out to seek your advice on a specific issue I've encountered. I've been struggling with thin green lines appearing in my Final Cut Pro videos, and I'm hoping you might have some insights on how to address this. Considering your expertise, I imagine you may have encountered similar situations in the past. I'd like to mention that I've been using the latest version of Color Finale for color correction in my vertical videos. Interestingly, when I disable the Adjustment Layer with Color Finale settings, the green lines at the top of the clip disappear, along with all my color adjustments. These green lines are causing my project to be rejected, so any guidance or tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. Best regards, Tetiana.
