2009 the fan is in your way and wont come out, its so tight. I had to undo the front and passenger motor mounts, jack the engine back to get it out. the entire job was a major bitch. plan on all day. I'm experienced and thought a couple hours, NOT.

I had one of these since 2015. Have used it, but not extensively. I was very happy with it for quite sometime. At some stage I even replaced its two blades. Unfortunately, three months ago while mowing the lawn as usual, I noticed smoke emanating from the batteries compartements. I stopped immediately and removed the batteries which were perfectly fine. I waited a few minutes and restarted the lawnmower. It started alright, but it ran only for less than a minute and it stopped. It does not start any longer. I am a professional, so given technical info and the ability to purchase the required spare parts, I would surely be able to repair the mower myself. However, on this occasion I have discovered that Greenworks after sales service is non-existing. For the past three months I have been "sent" around the world (by email) from USA/Canada to Europe and to the UK and no one has yet to deliver any helpfull answers. I have enjoyed this lawnmower and have invested in three batteries, three battery chargers and a number of Greenworks 40V tools, but at this stage I am deeply disappointed with the unfortunate lack of service. So, beware... enjoy it while it works, but do never expect it to run for much longer and be sure you know the way to the nearest scrapeyard, when the time comes.

Liquid gold does work, yes if you put it back in the sun it will eventually fade again, but for inside looks great and may have to reapply yearly but for $5 no brainer

took me 12 hours with 2 people, car was in a accident before I brought it I guess so all the hoses and the radiator was slammed forward was a massive pain in the ass even the entire engine belt fell off it was a complete joke but it was completed I guess ended up breaking the oil dip stick as well to add insult to injury.. definitely a shitty job

Thank you for the video. I would not have attempted such a job without it. Took me about 2 hours to remove, 1 hour to clean engine compartment, and about an hour to reinstall everything. I was shocked how much oil/junk was in the alternator when the engine compartment looked relatively clean. Double and triple check that the belt is seated properly before staring the vehicle.
