Not bad for a 74 year old. I liked his drumming when for Queen. But he is rather, especially if you compare him to Ian Paice, who is 76 and technically so much better.

Yes great drummer with the old 70s and 80s laid-back style. Thank you for your comment.

He never did drum solos in his younger days seems something has changed. Great drummer!
@jesseg19597 күн бұрын
I didn't know he never did solo's. Thank you for sharing.
@jimo31737 күн бұрын
Yeah, in the Queen (Freddy) days I never heard anything about any solos from him during shows. I guess that's not completely uncommon. When did Ringo ever do a solo? But even at 74 Roger is still on it.
@randysatarsky17896 күн бұрын
Yeah, he didn't do epic solos like Peart, Bonham, or Carl Palmer, but I do recall on Queen Live Killers, he did a short solo towards the end of Now I'm Here, and did a tympani solo in Brighton Rock. A cool short cool solo in Dragon Attack, and also did a killer solo on Roger Daltry's tune Under a Raging Moon, which accompanied 7 other drummers..

The song here is not "Sunrise" from the 1972 "Magician's Birthday". It is "Hail the Sunrise" from their last album "Chaos and Colour" (January 2023). Both very good songs !

June 21, 2024. Am I leaving first comment? Well my history with this song is that I've heard Clapton do it a million times. I heard Bob Marley's original of course. But very cool to hear a new cover.
