Beautiful but I would have made the bumpers and louvers black. Not a fan of that funney tweed looking carpet in an off color. Why is the firewall so scruffy looking?

Hi Tristam. I shot this video for the seller. I too was surprised to discover that the interior, engine compartment and trunk had not been detailed. It was a somewhat dated build with obviously a number of items that could have benefited from an upgrade or detailing. Nevertheless, It sold for good money and I can attest that it ran strong and was fun to ride in.

Having owned both a 1969 Type 105 "1750 Spider Veloce" and a 1974 Type 115 "Berlina 2000" in period (both purchased new), the correct factory designation for your 1974 Type 115 coupé is "GT 2000 Veloce." The Alfa Romeo factory did not use the moniker "GTV" until the introduction of the Type 118 transaxle cars. Refering to your coupé as a "GTV" is a misnomer. Enjoy your ride! [P.S. Currently, I enjoy a 2018 Type 952 Giulia Ti Sport with the Performance Package (mechanical LSD and adaptive suspension).]

I just realised I have done this before it was a thing to do, my wife was in hospital after giving birth to my Son and at some point I spotted an Alfa GTV6 the Alfetta one, this was in 1996 and so I went back for a test drive with a VHS C camcorder mounted on a tripod in the back seat, salesperson thought I was nuts, unfortunately I lost the footage in the divorce and it was worked too as in the engine had been rebuilt for sale $14,999 AUD.

This is a modified 2006 T100 purchased new. Only changes to motor were air box delete, performance exhaust and rejetting. She's been a dependable, quick performer for 12,000 miles so far. I did replace the rear shocks with Hagon Nitros. By comparison to today's high-performance motorcycles she's a bit of a pussycat - but perfectly fine for my style of riding which is mostly on rural two-lane roads in California.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any more....:-((

You put two tones , tri-tones and graphics on vehicles like vans that have large relatively flat panels. On body styles with lots of shape , you put one colour, preferably an effect like Candy because they enhance the shape instead of detracting from it. The truck is great, the paint is great...but it does detract from those fat shapes of the 56 F-100.

Hi Mark. This is not my truck; I just shot the photos and video. But as you know at the end of the day, it's the builder's choice and it's all subjective. This paint was probably a decade old (my guess) and for me, not colors I would have chosen. I too would have leaned to one spectacular color with perhaps a tiny touch of an accent color or limited striping. I've seen these look stunning in deep black, dark root-beer, midnight blue, cream, silver, seafoam, deep candy cherry and well you get it; it's subjective. Thanks for your opinion!
