It's not you, it's their perception! I understand you so well, being a countryside girl with a very distinct rock style of dressing, my 'friends' are constantly complaining how colorful I am. People are self centered and they want to feel as a main character. When you are sitting at the coffee with your crew there are 2 types: the one that are afraid that you may attract unwanted attention from the strangers around and the other who are jealous that you are stealing the attention that they want for themselves from the strangers around. Do you know how the moms says: "be yourself and the right people will come"? That doesn't work in the adulthood. People want to hang with you only if you blend in with them and compliment their vision for life. I'm so sick of that! I love your hairstyle and the quirky little knitted element and can only imagine how much attention you attract from boring conservative strangers, but hey life is too short to spend it like someone ordinary, despite what your friends think! If they are too insecure to want to hang out with you, it's not you, it's their perception! The fact that they still enjoy your company if you are calling first, only proves to me how self absorbed your community is, and unfortunately that's the case with most in personal friend groups. You may want to look at the book "How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, if you are interested at that topic.

I also followed these young men back in 2008 with my granddaughter (who is the same age as young Taemin) introduction to their music. I'm still following them ... and they have never ceased to amaze me the distance they can fly ... whether as a group or soloist or acting. I'll be 69 years old in November 2024 & I'm not someone who dedicate herself in any fandom ... BUT... I will always admit, if I had to choose just 1 group that will always hold that power of flight... it will be 5HINee!!!
