Do you still have the P90D? If so, how's it doing? Still enjoying it? I appreciate hearing your thoughts on buying/owning a used Tesla, as I'm currently looking at a 2016 MX P90D, 17K miles (CARFAX confirmed), for $37K. Same blue as yours, but with the cream leather and ash-wood trim. Beautiful car, looks immaculate in dealer pics, but at this point it's just about out of all warranty due to age. Makes me nervous given the issues these early MXs suffered from (falcon door sensors, front suspension/control arm shake, window regulators, leaking air suspension, air compressor failure, etc.). If anything goes wrong, it would be on me, and it could be expensive. Just trying to think it through from all the angles, but the MX has been my dream car since they came out, so I'm extremely tempted.

I do still have it with about 155,000 miles on it! I can understand you being nervous due to the age. My advice is to really check the battery. Not just the full charge capacity, but also the discharge rate. Good luck with your purchase.

Great video, and love to see another perspective on used Teslas. You're driving what's probably my dream car (though I'm not worried about performance). Blue paint, white interior, free supercharging and connectivity...man. With the MCU upgrade, were you also able to upgrade it to the one with 16GB RAM, so it can play Steam games? That'd be a huge selling point if I can upgrade an old MX to be able to play Steam games while I'm chilling and charging. (Though I might opt for KZbin or Netflix, also.)

❤ Hummers are available all over the US, from $8000 up to $50,000 and all three models, H1, H2 and H3, the H2 is the most common and the cheapest. There are more for sale in Arizona than anywhere ❤

Looks like fun my man! We did a winter one-nighter in the Poconos last year and it got down to 18 degrees. We used a diesel heater all night and it was nice and toasty. That platform you built to hold the heater up is perfect! I'm gonna have to do that to mine next time. We're definitely gonna make a trip up there to check it out. Thanks for sharing!

I have a 2011 Porsche panamera turbo w 37k miles. Thinking about a RaceChip gts 🤔 had 1 on my last summer car a bmw 540i. What are your thoughts after having it long term?

I actually switched out the RaceChip for a Fabspeed tune. Nothing really wrong with the RaceChip but was really satisfied with Fabspeed.

The cars are great, I have a 21 model 3 and I love it, but have driven a model s 75d and a model X p100d, they're a different league. But as for Elon I can see straight through him. He's a businessman. Money is at the forefront of his mind like every other businessman. Otherwise his cars would cost less, he wouldn't have scrapped the "$35000 Tesla" or the plans for the $25000 Tesla. The paid upgrades are more expensive than they need to be, FSD is years away and at $12000 in the states it's just robbery!!

Thanks for clarifying so many things. I'm trying to find a used model S with a free supercharging. How you make sure that feature is transferred to you after you buy it from dealer? I asked a couple dealers here on east coast and they don't know anything about that.

Great question! When I purchased my Model X the dealer had no idea what I was talking about. As a matter a fact the vehicle had a extended warranty through Tesla that they didn't know about. But back to the free supercharging. I would check some of the Tesla forums on this topic. I've been reading recently that its not only 2016. So how did you find out that the car has an extended warranty? What tools did you use? Also, did you claim ownership of the car by providing documentations on the Tesla website and creating a Tesla ccount? Because that's the only way by which you can know all those facts about the car. My concern is that if you claim ownership of the car on Tesla website, is Tesla going to automatically remove the free supercharging feature? I'm afraid to do it after I purchase mine.

@@anmarams I did find out all the information after making my account and going to a Tesla dealership. You're going to have to make an account in order to be able to supercharge.

Did you consider the Model S? I am just curious why you selected the Model X. Was it the doors? I also own a Porsche (2015 Macan S with a modified exhaust and re-mapped ECU) but I would like to get a used P95D Model S - probably a 2015 or 2016.

I needed a the seating space at the time, so that's why I went for the model X. I am currently looking at both the S Plaid and the X Plaid.

@@152thunder I bought a new Tesla 3 last week: white on white. The prices for used Teslas in the Chicago area were almost the same as new. It will be here Sept./Oct. It sucks that I won’t get a charger with the car. ☹️

@@apdrones1914 No. The announcement was made a few weeks ago. I'll have to pay $275 for the charger according to my sales representative. Elon said the reason was not many people were actually using them.
