This is fabulous! Did you print from a laser or inkjet onto the tea bag paper?

Were the papers soaked in only water? And what kind of paper do you recommend?

I soak them in a mixture of water and alum acetate. I use 140 lb watercolor paper. Thanks for asking!

I enjoyed watching you do this and so clearly explained. Do you frame your prints or do something else? And are they light fast? Do they fade? Many thanks again.
@CarolAnnWebsterArt5 ай бұрын
I have a couple of ways to use those papers, like mounting on cradled board and making greeting cards. None of mine have faded but I think using a uv spray couldn't hurt.

@@CarolAnnWebsterArt thank you, I'll have to check out the uv spray 😊

Do you use empty tea bags or have you found a particular brand that you like to use?

I love the Stash brand. The bags are about 4x6 with no staple. There's a knot that you untie (I use a bamboo skewer). I have more tutorials on my website, carolannwebster.com. I hope this is helpful.😍
