recently got the re20 and go xlr but i ran into an issue where when ever i talk and my mic activates there is loud white noise/ hiss sound in back ground any idea how to fix that

Can I ask about a method to split out Spotify from your vods? I’m assuming you need to have a Spotify channel in wave link muted out to stream but then a channel in OBS for stream but deselected in obs audio channels to be included in the vod?

When I push any buttons on my controller it diminshes the sound of spotify or discord on my streaming pc. I have discord and spotify in wave link. Any solutions? Also, I can hear the game audio (call of duty) through my headset. But now, even with the capture card connected, OBS isn't receiving audio from the PS5

I found that using the Steelseries GG software with Sonar has made audio so much easier. You can send one mix of your system audio to a stream output and then another mix to your headset.

So I’m not gonna be able to capture my teams audio and gamechat? Tf I thought that was the whole point of a capture card for console streaming. Almost wasted $150 on this thing

So I followed your setup expect I am not using a Elgato Wavelink mic. My question is if I wanted to add a console to this whole setup how would I go about doing it?

i have windows 11 and when i click sounds it looks nothing like that . when i dol click properties in the3 sounds settings i dont get any of those setting options about listen or enhancement help plz

Given a 2-PC streaming setup where my main gaming PC is running a 4K 240Hz monitor (with two additional 4K 60Hz monitors), and I’m using an RTX 4090, would you recommend using OBS’s projector mode on the gaming PC to send a 4K 60Hz feed to a capture card in the streaming PC, like the Elgato 4K X or Elgato 4K Pro? My goal is to capture gameplay on the streaming PC in the highest possible quality for local editing, while also being able to stream to KZbin at 1440p 60fps. Or would you suggest a different approach, such as display cloning or another setup, to maintain optimal gaming performance and high-quality streaming?

nice video, did not help my situation. Trying to use chat link pro cable so game chat audio is heard. I am using analog audio to try and capture that however if I do that I lose my gameplay audio. Right now I have the trade off which is no good. When I am using hdmi audio I have no issue what so ever everything is perfect. Just cannot get game chat audio to be picked up with gameplay audio

does this work with a GoXLR mini?

I've tried every method in this video, and none of them worked. Restarting my laptop fixed it but when I came back it was back to OBS not detecting the USB plugged in, the option in Properties for Device is still in Red with no option to swap the feed source like it used to. Also making a New Capture Device doesn't have any option under Device in Properties. EDIT: (20 seconds after adding the part about no Device Input in Properties) I re-enabled Camera Access to programs, the option for the USB is now there. Fingers crossed it stays there.

I tried this, but I am getting some really loud horrible noise when connecting the headphones mic out to the GoXLR's 3,5mm mic in. The sound is working. I am hearing my mic passing through my Rodecaster and into my GoXLR but its unusable because of the constant noise.

thanks for the video. one question i hope you can answer: you can have 16 usb devices sending and receiving data through only one usb port at your computer with this hub. what is happening to the bandwidth of that port? how can it maintain potential 16 time the bandwidth if all these are supposed to be usb 3.0? it cant, right?

if following all of the steps in the video and your capture video device is still not there try checking the camera privacy settings and allow/on streamlabs or obs it works for me hope these will help you guys :)
