My grandads a sheff wed fan, so they are my second team ( i can assume you can guess who my 1st team is lol ) and i was reslly happy and shocked when they beat Barnsley in the 123rd minute. And when i seen 2 points from 10 games, i honestly seen no hope for us, it was like i was watching Everton 😂😂. But when you survived on the last day, i was really happy

Yeah the fact we survived with such a bad start, the worst start in a championship season in history is amazing, same with the playoff comeback we did the season before, we always wait till people think it’s over to come back and do what we came to do! Thankyou for watching!! 🦉🦉

I'm still surprised how badly Xisco did at Sheffield Wednesday but even more surprised about the club hiring a manager like Danny Röhl who's been a breath of fresh air to not only his club but also English football.

Completely agreed, when I saw Xisco had a promotion under his belt I’d expect him to at least win a few games but the fact he only got 2 points in 10 matches is crazy. And the fact Danny came in after how bad of a start we had and completely changed the club around, while it was only his first full managerial job, he’s so good! Glad we’ve extended his contract till 2027!

Mate he’s hands down the best manager we’ve had since cavahal probably better in my opinion I’m really glad he’s signed a 3 year deal and credit is due to all our coaching staff and don’t get me started with the recruitment team what they’ve done this window is class it’s as though they just couldn’t be bothered with and other manager it seems to me Danny has the upper hand or chansiri has had some sort of wake up call because he seems to be fully backing Danny he’s even put his hand in his pocket for the training ground all re done though the break and he is also having a gym and that out in as well that may be not till after new year tho they’ve said but it seem like things are finally starting to look up 👌👌👌

Thank you Danny Rohl for saving my club after the worst start ever in history. We gave everyone a massive head start with just 2 points from 30 including a team that were in 6th place at the time before they sacked their manager only to finish behind us. Still can't believe that all four clubs below us won on the last day...so glad we turned up at Sunderland. Form table for the 2nd half of the season would have us in the playoffs, would be so great if we can match that form next season

Glad to see Wednesday stay up as an Ipswich fan. We both had our struggles in League One and were far too big for it. How Rohl managed to keep up this squad who looked absolutely finished even in September is amazing. You’re lucky to have him! Good luck next season 🦉🤝🚜💙🤍

Great video but I have a question if someone doesn’t mind answering. I’m fairly new to watching football ball so I’m still unfamiliar with a few things. How come some of the scores show that Peterborough had 4 and then 5 goals and some show them having 0 and then 1. Like I’ve seen it around saying Wednesday won 5 - 1 but then it also says they came back from being 4 nil down. It’s just a bit confusing for me so hopefully someone can clue me in 😂

Thank you for enjoying the video! The reason is because this was in the league 1 playoffs, you have 2 matches, 1 at your ground and 1 at the opponents ground. On the first match we lost 4-0 at the opponents ground meaning if we wanted to go through to the final we had to win by 5 in the second game or win by 4 and win penalties. We came back and won 5-1 made it 5-5 between both games and then won on penalties! I hope that helped 😊

Nice compilation of this memorable (or even miraculous) season. I'm so delighted SWFC achieved the impossible and stayed up as the Owls are one of the English clubs I really have a soft spot for. Rohl achieved the impossible. You were all but down. Chansiri needs to have faith and let Rohl build on it. I hope we (Ipswich) stay up, and you have a dream season next year and join us. Oh yeah and I hope you do the double on the Pigs.

Agreed pal, chansiri needs to do all he can to keep rohl and get in the players he wants. Chansiri said at the start of the season that he wanted us to push for playoffs in our first season back but then hired an awful manager and gave him peanuts to spend on players. Now rohl is here and knows what he’s doing I think this season we can go for a playoff push. Thanks for watching the video! Hope you lot do well in the prem!
