How much does something that turns logs into usable lumber cost?
@WittsWoodАй бұрын
The saw mill I’m using cost about $4,800. I’ve had it a year and cut about $4,000 worth of wood on it. But I wouldn’t do it to save money because it take a lot of time cutting trees, dragging logs and then milling the logs, dying, then being able to use it for something. I enjoy the process, being outside, improving my property, the smell of fresh cut pine-cedars-oak, and it a satisfying experience.

Letting it hang lower at the ends is counter productive, and you need to help the rollers feed the wood through

When Samsung Austin Texas opened it's doors a well intentioned maintenance department person had a Small Brand made. He then Branded all of the Samsung Ladders. There were Hundreds of Ladders that were Branded. The Brand was Burned into a Leg of each of Fiberglass Ladders and OSHA Promptly Condemned Them. The ladders were found in and the Samsung Dumpsters!!!
