This was a close one! Some classic War of the Ring developments, but good play on both sides. Also, as an aside, I just wanted to say that I appreciate you making these short plays of your longer streamed games. I know they're more work to make, but they're so much easier to watch!

Great video and great game! I really enjoyed watching this one; I thought for sure that FP would have the advantage, but then a couple slow turns in Mordor and your ongoing persistence with the Shadow military really paid off! Fun one!

Thanks for a good game - I was sad that I missed not taking MT back (and bhilly's suggestion of using ered luin and Grey havens to retake shire). I also agree that I should NOT have left rivendell that early. really set myself up for sadness. A good game overall.

Great comeback - thought the SP were toast after the first half. Mordor luck was rough but in Ituralde's shoes I would've definitely moved the FSP more aggressively in mordor. Using the C die to put in a blue tile and then giving SP time to kill the W with DWD effectively gave up 2 potential movement/hides that might've made the difference and made dunking possible on the final turn. Always a chance of drawing reds/eyes but with a beefy companion meatshield you gotta take the risk and make the most of those precious movement dice IMO.

On the final turn, seems like FP should have mustered in ered luin, will to combine GH and EL outside shire, and then retake shire. That still leaves a movement die as well fir that turn.

Finally got to watch the game! Very cool one! You asked for pointers but I don't have many... you even killed a hunter! :D As for nitpicks: I don't quite like your first feed (for 1 health). I think you should Have plan your trail so that you can move instead and have that 1 more hideout. Assasination with help of rats... lol. I probably prefer wolves or spy, by it is 2 "guaranteed" damage. I feel the first RV was the big turning point of the game. And you abused it well. I liked your darkness to protect the vamp, too! Gg. :)

This is how gianats fall... Nuked from orbit. ;) I don't think your play was stupid. You either play around CG and move further by sea, taking damage and giving hunters time. Or you land and CG most probably makes you lose the game within few days. So it wasn't stupid, just gamble either way.
