We need many more African leaders with this mindset, unfortunately 6 years down the line since this post, nothing much has changed. Partly the african mind especially in older generations {currently in positions of 'power'} is deeply brainwashed and embedded in colonial thinking - through education, govt systems etc.. which they are unwilling to change. Most of all they are easily corrupted by the 'coloniser' because of greed, ignorance selfishness and big egos. AFRICANS LOVE AFRICA.

China and Russia had absolutely no history of colonizing Africa. In fact, they have been the friends of Africa against the rootless European West and America for centuries. For centuries Europe and American have been in Africa with zero advancement. Look what China and Russia have done for just a few decades modern roads, bridges, hospitals, modern railways, modern airport. As a person of European I can see why you think China and Russia is colonizers just deflecting your inherit colonizer mindset.
