I'm usually reluctant to, because I drop out when there's bits in the music that need attention (and because I'm not much of a singer - but the organ hides that a little).

Holy shoot, I didn't feel as nervous as I look - in fact felt quite comfortable, but fingers are definitely shaky,.

Thank-you - the swell was out of action (which I normally use for soft pre-mass playing, and they do give it a nice soft start)

One thing I really enjoy watching other organists is discovering beautiful pies of music and hymns - this is another I haven't come across this one before either! Thank you for your sensitive and gentle performance Tim ❤️

I *think* (might be talking a little out of school) that this tune is very Catholic. Hymnary lists only 1 hymnal that has it "The Autralian Hymn Book With Catholic Supplement" (which happens to be the hymnal I was using), and it's definitely in the supplemental bit.

I have a total mental blank on this one....I workd out it's this (hymnary.org/text/o_bless_the_lord_my_soul_his_grace_to_th) , but I'm sure there's other verses (one starts "He pardons all my sins...." - and I'm not sure if I'm confusing with a different hymn, I can imagine lyrics "...the rich sends empty away..." and "...and in the paths of righteousness..." for line 2 and 3 of other verses too).... But it is a really nice tune.

While I was playing, I didn't realise how fantastic the Cantor sounded - it was a last minute thing - we'd planned to sing it chorus-verse but the verses were difficult and it ended up like this....
