It went down 1½ steps. Now i have 2 tenor guitars! That play exactly like a uke. But on octave lower

Switched off when he said not a lot of great players use light picks: EVH, Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Page, Prince, Eric Clapton did for Tears in heaven. All depends what the style of song is your playing so to right off light picks and say not a lot of great guitarist used them is stupid. Many world class guitarists used them for certain songs and the fact you don’t even know that is a Dunlop Tortex 1.0mm by the colour says it all. All this while holding a classical guitar 😂

I’ve used some wall hung rugs. Much nicer to look at and they deaden reflected sound very effectively. There are rug wall hanging kits to be found at craft shops or if you must, the internet markets. Loads of nice rugs to be found at antique fairs etc, just need a good clean. Off cuts of carpet are equally effective and really cheap.

Thanks for actually talking about this in a live setting. It seems like every review I find is virtually paid for by singular sound.

Why does it look like the diagram doesn't match up with how your voicing it?

It does not make your sound bigger. It doesn't make you play guitar in time better, and you're not adding anything valuable that a percussionist next to you couldn't do significantly better. If you're playing by yourself, use a damn drum machine so you can stay in better time, focus on your guitar playing, and actually sound good. As opposed to trying to do everything at once, and sound like a crappy one-man band.

I have a drop D capo. I could see how it works when you actually use the capo where you don’t need to down tune the low E to D, but what if you try to play Neil Young harvest Moon where it is played with capo, then you have to tune down the low E to D, correct? The special drop D capo is only good when the song actually requires a capo, correct?

So, in theory ,we just need to put a capo in the 5th fret and turn on an octave pedal, and it will be ukulele 😂
