Where did you get the adaptor from? My father also owns a Suzuki RE5. He wants to convert it to common sparkplugs, because the original sparkplugs he owns are pretty old and nasty.

At the start of this video it shows the dewaterising screens in the dence medium plant. I was involved in the construction of these machines at Hewitt Robin's in Glasgow. I also remember spending many weekends down there changing them from metalastic mounts to springs that was after we had changed feed boxes, discharge lips and support decks

Probably before my time, I started there in 2000 and turned the lights out and locked the door in Dec 2004 when it closed, when everything was up and running it was a very impressive piece of kit the whole set up processing up to 4,000 tph. Great place to work and I see Hewitt Robins still making screens often see them on Linkedin.

When the mine was open the drifts were accessible, it was possible to walk down them and they had repair stations for the cable belts. Looking at Google earth the only thing left above surface was the "shed" the cable belts were cut and the drifts filled in and capped.

Was it possible to walk down the drifts at Gascoigne Wood? And are the sealed drift caps still visible?

I did my training with a lad from hatley in January 1980, sadly I can’t remember his name but I remember his face and his mannerisms, a good lad, we were just young then, hard to believe.
