I learned fairly quickly to get a miner small vessel off the workshop. I got the Scarab SCM to use for mining stuff. Mining by hand in Reforged Eden using that mechanical drill. Nope.

I went straight for the crashed ship. Then used the resources at the crashed ship to build a small Hoover Vessel. Well on Omnicron it's so hot you start to overheat. You can eat a cactus for hydration on Omnicron. I had to build three oxygen condensers to keep up with oxygen demand. I didn't realize if you use a jetpack that it uses up your oxygen faster. Lots of these ships in the workshop are not setup for this scenario. Make sure to look for stuff specifically setup for it. It takes almost double the CPU for stuff in Reforged Eden compared to vanilla.

I like to watch your gameplay for EGS. Nice your trying out Reforged Eden. I suspect Elon has more or less stopped developing the game. Modders are doing it all now. I already finished the UCH solo mission for this scenario. That was my primary goal. My secondary was to slowly grind to get a starter capital ship. A grind it is. At least if you finish the mission you can get bridges so you can build your starter CV...a bit easier.

I found it unusual that they fitted an alien core to the heidenburg, so you can't use that for salvage, I know it makes you work harder. But got so used to doing it 😆

If you're going to comment during gameplay, you may want to turn the music volume down (a lot). Your voice is basically background noise during loud music. Example at about the 8 minute mark. Good watching you play, tho.

It took awhile to get used to, but when I had a injury to my hand and couldn't move my fingers as much it was easier with a controller, and just usually stick to it now, unless it's something like battlefield etc. Thank you for you comment.

Just started with Omega - ;) min 32+ : if u have found all fauna of a planet then u get a 'lot' (!) of nanites for submitting the data (compared to the usual nanite rewards ). So: if it is just a flying one (i.e. they will be easy to find) then go for it (at least at the start ;) ) If it is an 'underground' species - well - can be a species u can only find in a cave (or a digging one) = 'Do i really want to search for it?? ;)

@@TWGC63 oh thats good then. Also keep in mind that 3.14 comes with new graphical options, so if you want better fps you can lower these. And.. well, if you have any specific doubt... please let me know ^^

@@TWGC63 well your GPU might be more or less fine, actually SC is more CPU and RAM dependent nowadays (its a long history), but in the space you should be basically all fine, and some improvements comming in 3.14 And glad you are enjoying man, o7

@@TWGC63 what @seven eternal says, except Orison - at Orison with a 1650 you will suffer, because the clouds are brutal for any GPU. But for the rest of the game, especially in space, you should be OK as long as you run it from an NVME SSD and a minimum of 16GB RAM (better are 32, though).

I was using a keyboard and mouse overall it plays very well, I currently do not have the best internet but it's very playable, I only had a couple of lags butt that's form to a fault on my net.

@@TWGC63 Hi, when l tried to play 7 days to die with steam link on my shield TV there is a little popup in the bottom left that says "press the back button to manage remote session" that l can't get to go away (even if l hit the back button on my controller). Did you have this problem, any idea how to get rid of it?

No, it currently doesn't allow it, plus it doesn't let me use my own ships that I built in normal stream. So I just build what I need in game.

@@TWGC63 I do, but in that menu there is just a non-populated list, and it doesn't have the add friends button like yours does.
