These videos are really great as the whole process for me was really confusing and it was my first time doing any of this. Thank you for the content.

In my next video I show how to get a more accurate "current fuel level" using the BMW hidden menu and also write my own iOS app for more precise mix calculations. Check it out!

This is way too expensive just for a strut brace. round about 1200 Dollars for just a brace is ridiculous.....

I have seen similar comments come up multiple times in forum posts discussing strut braces, so let's analyze it. The top piece is 40" long, 2.16" wide, and 1" tall. The bottom piece is 56" inches long, 1.25-2.35" wide (depending on where you measure it, so let's say 2" for the benefit of doubt because it is over 2" in more places than it isn't), and 1" tall. A 24" long, 2" wide, and 0.5" tall carbon fiber bar on McMaster-Carr is $119, and the 12" long version of that is $67. So you need about 2x24" and 2x12" bars to give you about the same volume as the top piece. That is $372. For the bottom piece you need approximately 4x24" and 2x12", which is $610. The former is 4" shorter than the material we need and the latter is 4" longer than the material we need, so they cancel each other out. That is $1000 of raw carbon fiber. Now include the aluminum shrouds, manufacturing of it, clear coating, and r&d. There isn't much left for profit. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it expensive for what it is? I'd say no, especially relative to other high end / high quality carbon fiber products in the automotive industry. Is it worth it? Well, that's up to you. I think it makes the engine bay look great and the handling improvement once you drive with it makes you not want to drive without.

Here is a photo of the clips that you need to make sure are in all the way before inserting the glass: imgur.com/a/KKRJ2tg Two of them on the bottom area of mine eventually broke off because I took the glass out probably close to 20 times while troubleshooting. You should not have this issue.
