Thank you for the video. That's the second time i replace battery for my automower 310 and 315. Advice for all the people using it, buy genuine battery from Husqvarna, the no name ones that i try didn't last as many time as the official ones.

Hello, Hard to say with that information. Only replacing the base plate should not affect the power in any way. Is the circuitboard correctly installed?

8:45 does the sensors has anything do to the 220AC cannot find back to the charging station ? It keeps running untill it looses power and we have to carry it back to the charging station after every time..

Hello, This is typically because the antenna in the charging station OR the circuitboard of the charging station is defective. Does it lose its power and stand with empty battery close to the charging station?

I have a Husqvarna automower 315 that has generally worked well for 4-5 years other than a replacement of the wheel motors a year ago. Its software was also updated at that time. I haven't seen the problem I am having now discussed. It will start and beginning mowing like usual. Then, with around 80% of charge left, it will stop in the middle of the lawn and turn completely off. Flipping the switch on and off does nothing. The only way to get it on again is to take it back to its dock. Once it's in the dock I have to put in my pin then it goes through language and date/time setup and set a new pin. It then says it is at 100% power again but will not start mowing for awhile while it says it is 'charging'. It will start after a bit and do the same thing all over again, stopping and turning full off mid mow with lots of charge left. Does this seem like a battery problem? Or some kind of electrical problem? Hoping a battery change will work but not sure that's the issue.

Hello Brent, We would assume this is due to the battery. It's not very uncommon that this occurs if one(or more) of the battery cells are broken. Then it can not hold charge and will discharge quickly. Which results to this problem. Also the battery indicator might show 80% but is in reality close to 0%. It can also be due to normal battery degradation. After 5 years it's time to replace the battery normally, they don't last longer than this. Best regards

I am facing the same problem as you are describing. I have just recived a new batteri, as i assumed that this is where the problem is. Found this video, and Saw your deskription of the problem. Battery changed with help of this video, and problem solved.😊

Hi, great video! The new holder has capacity to hold 2 batteries. Can I add 2 batteries for my 420 model? If so, is there any additional software configuration required?

Hello, Thank you! You can not add 2 batteries at all for an Automower 420 - the software does not accept two batteries. It would require a new mainboard, a 440/450X serial no, new power supply and a new extension cord. In other words - not worth it. Best regards

I would like to know, if I can change this battery by my self, with no issues regarding the need for updating or resetting the device in the shop?? I have heard, that several people has had that problem when changing the battery "at home". Mine is a 430X, model 2018. Thks.

Hello Ole, You can change it yourself, there is no need for programming or resetting after replacing the battery. However, it could be good to note how many hours your Automower have been running(Seen in the home screen) before replacing the battery. Then you will know how many hours you've got on the new battery. As long as you use genuine parts you will not have any problems when replacing it yourself.

Hello Adam, Sorry to hear that your charging station broke. To pair your Automower 220AC with the new charging station, simply go to the security settings then choose "pin code". Enter your current pin code and then it will ask you to enter a new pin code(You can use the same pin code as earlier) after this the Automower will pair itself with the charging station. Make sure you have placed the Automower in the charging station while you do this procedure. Best regards GPLshop team

My Automower 315x was working fine. Then from one moment to the other it just not working properly anymore. When it finishes the work on the secondary area, I go out to pick the mower. The "welcome wizards" starts after I charge the mower. Before I just needed to charge and everything was fine. Then we changed battery in the robot to a new one but it still does. Do you have any idea what is the problem? Maybe there is a "secondary battery"?

Hello Deaktomi, That's a strange problem. On Automower 315X there is no microbattery. The mainboards stores the settings and information and if you've recently replaced the battery I'd assume it's the mainboard that is the problem. Hard to say though as we've never experienced this problem. We would start by updating the firmware even though we doubt it would make a difference. Our recommendation would be to leave it at an authorized dealer and have them troubleshoot the robot. Best regards

Have you got any solutions to this? I am also experiencing this. My Automower 315 has worked well for 7 years and suddenly this summer the cutting time was low and it could not manage to get back to the charging station before it stopped. I have tried new original battery with no success. Now the mower shuts of after very short cutting time, and I need to put it in the charging station again. When I enter the home screen the battery is almost full.

Hi, I like your video on replacing the blade wheel on a 105, however the plastic cover on the bearing housing assembly on my 105 seems to be a bit larger than yours and it will not come off. Can I force it off??

Hello! No, you can only install it one way as the plastic around it only allows it in one specific way. So you don't have to worry about that. Also the left and right wheel motors are the same type.

Great video! About to attempt this myself. last year I asked my local dealer 3 times to replace the battery while it was in for service and they “forgot”. They then had a meltdown about how I could damage the electronics when I said I would just do it myself. Doesn’t seem too complicated.
