make a fuse that has a switch wired into it , you can use a blown fuse and solder wires to the top that connect to a switch you can place on the bars , instant abs disable

@shubkale376 I hear ya, luckily used Z900s are reliable so if you find a decent priced 2020 model it could be worth the price. Buying new is fun and all but buying a well maintained used z900 for less money is the move. You really get a lot of bike for the price AND you can put it in low power mode if the bike feels too scary at first. Thanks for watching!

I seen your other update review with the bike on the side and I almost cried, that might have something to do with the plastics getting wonky. At any rate this has been whittled down to my next bike, they are going for mid $8k new around me and thats so much bike for the money, the '24 red scheme looks sick too. I already plan on a full exhaust, ecu flash, taller screen, corbin seat, and sw motech panniers to make it a sport tourer lite. I'll still spend less than most bikes from the factory, hard to beat that.

What up thanks for watching!! Yeah that was a hard morning for me I was on my way to work too. The only reason I parked all my bikes there was b/c our apartment was repaving our parking spot. I hear you about the price, if it makes you feel any better it really is A LOT of bike for what you pay for. Maybe check closer to the end of the year when people need the cash for holiday expenses etc. Yeah I like the red too it makes it look like a Ducati! You will spend less, what full exhaust are ya thinking?

@@GoGoober This bike wasn't even on my radar until I seen one for $8k, it went right to the top of the list after that. I was looking at a Ninja 1000sx but their almost twice the price. I've heard good things about SC project systems so maybe that one. I gotta get the bike first and not get too far ahead of myself, hard not to though.

Wondering if you feel the ride modes and TFT display are worth the extra cost? Looking at a 1 owner 2019 with 2700 miles for 7K. Most of the 2020-2022 are in the 8-8500 range.

Take seat off and remove the rubber bungs. Turn them upside down and you will be more comfortable. it stops you sliding forward.

Long story short, mechanic said he was gonna do a full decat, this pipe deletes the breadboard obviously and only SOME of the cat🤓 Honestly loud enough and have an ECU flash too, super happy with it after all these years. Thanks for watching!

Is the load complete or just the terminal? Is it approved for exhaust or not? To make it sound like this did you remove the db killer or not?

No db killer, also it really just removed the breadbox. Technically, part of the cat is still in there which is easily taken care of if you change the stock headers too. Check the sizing on the website because it's different for EU vs USA. Thanks for watching hope that helps!

Niiccee the red Z900 are awesome. I can't remember if it came with it's own midpipe but everything they sent over from Austin Racing was everything my mechanic needed to mount it up! Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Still ahven't ridden the zx4rr, but it still doesn't compare to the z900 power wise. As far as having a track bike, zx4rr would be siiiick but it's the same price and less power as the Z900! Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Engine braking being very strong is because OEM's cut the fuel injectors completely "off" when you close the throttle (emissions, fuel economy). It's equivalent to hitting the kill switch. Older carbureted bikes never did this because so long as the engine's pistons are going up and down, there's a minor amount of fuel going in. This can be adjusted in the ECU flash.

Great video! About to purchase a 2024 Z900 ABS and this video couldn’t have cemented my thoughts more. It’ll be my first ever new bike with like 5 miles on the clock, very excited to be the only person to ever touch it (aside from dealers). The only thing I can think about for the reasoning behind the awful rear seat is that most riders don’t ride with backpacks. It’s hard to cater to a minority of riders.
