I was so happy to find your channel, I’ve been trying to make a Search Box in order to search over 42,000 Locations in the UK. While calculating overtime we have used the formula =E4-Time(8,0,0) , considering regular 8 hour daily working time. We must amend this formula if the regular working hours are less than 8. For example, if the working hour is 6 than we will write this formula as =E4-Time(6,0,0) and everything will be working fine.

Walikum salam, If we do not select headers of columns than we will use following formula to get the sales 2019: =INDEX(B4:G18,MATCH(J3,C4:C18,0),3) Otherwise we can also select headers as I have explained that method in the video. Because we are multiplying overtime, which is in time format and must be converted to decimal before we multiply it with the overtime pay rate to get total overtime pay. In our example when we multiply 4:30 with 24 we get 4.5 that is good to multiply with $50 to get the $225. I hope you understand the reason. Thanks for watching keep connected.

Does not work for me. When I use this formula it just highlights my entire table. Searching for any term does absolutely nothing.

It usually happen when we do not use the absolute value in the formula that is by by pressing F4. Still if you found it difficult to apply I have another special video on developing search box with another method. May be it work best for you. Most welcome. Exactly, for office 365 user they can directly add check boxes however developer tab option is for everyone. The most interesting part is how these check boxes are linked with conditional formatting. I hope you have enjoyed that.
