A normal play will have some moves played instantly and others after some time of thinking, while when cheating, the time the engine takes to find the best move and for the cheater to copy it is constant

its exactly 4 seconds each move without any variation. no matter how easy it should be to see the move or not.

Typically when you’re actually playing you don’t have to think for 4 seconds every move you may have a move come about where you’re not certain about something and you have to make a move that takes like 10 seconds or something, but the consistency of taking 4 seconds every move can be suspicious because that’s about how long it would take to update your engine

@@dd-is4ow I was playing with white in this short. The line you typed is absolutely incorrect and is losing for black. You can check it with an engine yourself. The only move that saves this position for black is Bd5. Everything else loses.

@@leolehtinen2503well if you take with the queen after queen takes rook you dont have anymore bc3 because he can just trade the queens If you take with the rook after queen takes rook you can play bc3 but idk if it does work quite well, since its just a ok move by the engine

The only reason a brilliant doesn't count is if there was actually a better move, which is probably the case here Anyway everybody hates computers

Brilliant moves are almost never mate-in-one's at most levels, because it usually stands for a move that are extremely hard to spot (in proportion to your level) but provides a significant advantage (or even leads to a forced checkmate). At higher levels, they are sometimes moves that the computer can't even see at low-depths. Just because that move ends the game doesn't mean it was hard to spot. I would say that the queen sacrifice is more deserving of the brilliant because it goes against chess principal but eventually leads to a checkmate.

That's not true, you can absolutely have brilliant moves for mate in one. The only reason this is not a brilliant move is because black has a forced mate if he plays Qxa3 instead of Qxe6. Qxe6 leads to a forced mate in 5 only if white takes the queen. If white instead plays something like Rxg7 then there's no forced mate and the queen sacrifice doesn't win any material.
